I hear Alex Chilton, Chad and Jeremy, The Byrds, but I also hear them. I thought Jellyfish and Teenage Fanclub were the last two bands of the past 25 years that were influenced by that 60’s jangly sound but these guys have definitely taken over that mantle.

I had the great privilege to see this man at Caffe Lena in Saratoga recently. It was a hell of a long drive, usually seven hours round trip, made longer by some nasty thunderstorms on the Thruway both ways, but oh my gosh, this man is magic. By turns charming and funny or bittersweet and mournful... he played Dry County Dust and I had tears rolling down my cheeks. Don't miss him if he comes within a day's hatd ride.
