So if I buy this coffee, it will cure my capitalist and patriarchal guilt? I’ve always wanted to taste the feeling of patting myself on the back.

I like to stand on my tiptoes before I fold the sides of the filter in because I feel it yields a better flavor profile.

In a blind taste test, can you taste the relationship with the farmer? Or does the relationship only make the taste of the coffee better in our minds? Is using the idea that we could be ethical consumers, by selling a feeling of righteousness instead of how the actual beans taste, just an insidious marketing ploy?

You can truly brew anything on the Chemex, but right now we've been really into Pacamara La Gloria and Elefante ⚡️

I can never get the timing right. Do I wait 45 seconds after the completion of each pour?
@madcapcoffee5 ай бұрын
1. Start your timer when you start pouring, stop pouring at 80 grams 2. At 45 seconds, start pouring another 200 grams 3. At 1:45, pour another 200 grams 4. Finally, at 3 minutes, pour your final 200 grams Hopefully this helps clarify - let us know if not!

Guyz this is espresso shot but if we use base i mean when we add small amount of water in coffee and when we mix it it will become a thick paste so when we add milk in that thick paste does still can we get this type of design on coffee (i know my eng sucks)

I have found that when using the Breville in pour-over mode (<=20oz) with a Kalita-185 brewer and Breville pour-over adapter (standard nozzle replaced with accessory pour-over nozzle) there is quite a mess made by brew nozzle spitting out water and the splashing of water coming from the Kalita-185. So, as a result, I don't recommend using the Kalita-185 (155). However, the taller pour-over brewers like the Melitta ceramic prevents the spitting and splashes from making a mess.

When you say cups is it 250ml (8oz) or 150ml (5oz)? I assume it's 250ml (8oz) since recipe card says 1L. I have a Sage, aka Breville, precision brewer, and 1 cup is 150ml (5oz).

I've been trying for 2 years to perfect my latte art skills like I'm not a barista I worked at Dunkin' donuts You know what I mean it's not like an independent hobby shop where they get real creative and into it but I've always wanted to be able to even just make a leaf you know a beautiful leaf I think it's cuz I use creamer instead of milk cuz I don't like milk in my espresso I know I know I know I have an electric frother because for some reason I can't seem to get the same father to cooperate with me I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I'm sure I'll get there
