I own at DVC at the Poly, so we are hoping this stays the same condo association. This would give us more options to book 11 months out. However, this does not in any way work with the existing resort. The colors seem to clash, there is no Polynesian feel at all. Looks like they missed the target on this one.

Splash mountain was just darkness with little to no light , also quite unnerving especially while going up the hill with all the thunder and the very scary suspense, while this retheme looks like there will be little to no scary suspense

@SlushysSecret that's what I loved about that. The drop was angry to represent the evil Brer Fox home and to make the people and kids scared. But this makes it look to happy. And poor kids will be in shock after the drop

@@CrazyManhog now that I’ve seen the ride POV it’s more of boring suspense rather than your Jack shocked excuse you got going on over here, so kids would definitely be more happy to go down the drop while having to ride through the very vacant and embarrassing dark ride portions

As much as i think the exterior looks ugly and out of place. I will admit at night they added cyan, purple, and blue lights in the water and i think it looks beautiful. But splash mountain is way better in my opinion. Splash's story felt like i was riding through a funny looney tunes cartoon with tons of slapstick comedy and gags, catchy songs, and a Terrifying Big Drop. Tiana's bayou Adventure story about finding an ingredient for a party just sounds boring and lame for something that is supposed to be a thrill ride. No climax, no scary elements, no nothing to prepare you for the drops.

The latest info from Disney is that this ‘missing ingredient’ you will be looking for on the ride is a complete band of animals to play at the party, so it sounds kind of fun that you will be meeting a lot of animal band members.
