Hello, do they have an elevator in the building? My husband has mobility issues and wondering if beach was close from the resort to walk to? Thx
@Kaygee79
@Kaygee79 4 күн бұрын
Hey there. So the resort does not have a single building, it is a bunch of small villas about 3 storeys in height. So if your husband has mobility issues then you may be able to request to be put on the ground floor of one of the villas so you don't have to climb up stairs. Some of the villas are closer to the beach area so once again you can request those particular buildings. The access to the beach does require climbing up a flight of stairs but there is one access point with a ramp if that makes it easier. I have another video on my KZfaq channel where I do a walkthrough of the resort so if you watch that it might give you a better idea of how the resort works. Hopefully this helps with your decision making. Cheers! :)

Nice video and detailed. But... Why didn't PHILIPS more autonomy into these devices. ...? ~1h charging for just ~40 minutes of runtime...? And we need to put it to charge which involves always inserting a custom tip of a usb cable. With some thinking and engineering, they could put a charging coil compatible with charging stations would make life easier. That would allow also to close the charging port. It's too frustrating when the battery runs out. I was shaving and then the sound of the thing started to get lower and the shaver stopped, I pressured the power button, Opened the blades zone, and pressed the button, the motor was running, I thought to myself that the blades were clogged or something. Then I realised that the light was flashing... I can get more sessions (more than a day of runtime) with a piece of crap shaver that I can put 2x 2000mAh rechargeable batts. To say the truth... this product and the base line of products like this one ... are just trash. It's ideal for those with low budget but it's preferable to waste more money in a machine that has more autonomy or allows shaving during recharging. Beard and hair doesn't stop growing unfortunately and we need constantly cutting the beard. Those who have low budget like me and see these products a money saving for manual blades, soon they realise that they wasted money where many sites doesn't really tell how long the battery lasts. They say 40min/session but what this really means... it means the battery only lasts ~40 minutes with motor always on, not 40 minutes for a full shaving. Plus, some sites say... 8 hours charging and that implies that the shaver should run for many hours. It does cut beard and hair but it's marketed that we need to change the blades every 2 years. Who can guarantee that the replacements will be available the next 10 years, or the battery still is ok for 10 years... or the charding port doesn't break? I expected more from PHILIPS.

@@Kaygee79 No problem. Your video is excellent and very helpful. I probably need to correct myself. I bought a philips shaver 1000 something and I just feel odd the low runtime for 8 hours charging (not 1 as I said). I used the thing for 2 light beard shavings and it stopped when I was about 98% finishing. The shaver took... about 8 hours to charge. I even used a usb charger from a tablet (5v, 2A). I put it to charge yesterday for the second time since purchase and meanwhile that, I rotated the blade's mechanism and inspected the blades, just to check how it works. But it's like what I commented... I perfered a lil fatter shaver with more autonomy than this kind of poor autonomy.

@@hugosimoes5119 I wonder if a higher model number would serve you better? I only own the 1000 series shaver and this is sort of the base version of the rotary shaver. My father is the one who uses it and for him it still works well. I know sometimes he uses it while plugged in with the charger and it still works like that for him. So if you battery goes low just try using it like a regular plug in shaver and it should be fine to finish off your shave.

The important question is: Does it work while connected to the charger? Nobody mentions this in their reviews, it's so annoying, because that's an important attribute for a shaver!

I use the spiking glue that you had. It holds the hair in place, gives it a nice shine and i like the smell of it. The front of my hair is longer, so the strong hold i prefer. You're right, hair does come out which im not a fan of. I'll try this American Crew product, see how it works for me. Thanks!!
@Kaygee79
@Kaygee79 18 күн бұрын
Well this American Crew product, specifically the Matte Clay one does give a pretty strong hold without the hardness and without the hair falling out. The spike glue will be stronger hold but this one is still pretty good. In my case it is strong enough. It surely gives a different feel so I think it's worth a try. Finding the American Crew Matte Clay in Toronto is sometimes a bit tricky. They sell various American Crew products in different stores but only a few I find have the Matte Clay. I found this one at Cosmetic World which is by Yonge & Bloor area.

The problem with the shaver heads, the hinge supporting plastic guides either breaks or the hinge snaps out of the shaver head, this just happened to mine. I also noticed that the 100% battery capacity on mine never worked reliably, it stopped at about 40-20%. Since these shaver heads are made of plastic, it may also be possible that inside of the shaver head, some plastic parts can break. Since my side trimmer also stopped working after about 6 months, I am going to recycle the shaver. I would not buy another one that uses a metal hinges on plastic parts. My next one uses magnets to hold the shaver head in place.

0:02 I own few models from Seki , 106/107/109/112 and 113.Double click to me produce just model 113 , take me 1 minute to realize why do such a double click .The cuting edge of top blade overlap the botom cuting edge on a first press to cut you have first click, when you open to relese then second click became present cos blades get unlock from overlap position . That could be considered as missalign , anyway the ones which dont do double click cut much easy on piece of paper then ones with double click , i presume that will do on nails too. I mention that missalign can be see only in proces of cuting if you look from a side , other wise on non cuting action cant be see any missaling if you close on empty the nailcliper .Hope i make sense .

As far as I know every nail clipper from Seki are sharpened by hand , so each one is unique , all of them cut very well ,and maybe the ones with double click will preserve better the cutting edge in time .
