It's been destroyed and sold to a couple. It's not accessible because it is inside a private gated community. All that remains is part of the dock where Ronnie fished and composed songs. There is a marker facing the water explaining what was once there.

The Good Book says we are to weep when a baby is born and rejoice when somebody dies. This story reminds me just how hard that Bible verse is to follow because I don't think there was anyone that rejoiced when these talented people passed. Fly on Free bird. We love and greatly miss all of you.😢❤

We will be all gone someday but it sure would be nice to leave behind some great memories like these men, still listen to their music, Great memories of good times and good music I am 72 now and will soon pass on but loved playing thier music in the bands I have been in, although time is passing and all of us will pass into history forgotten over time it was sure Great being able to spend our time with the men and their music in the time that I have had. I would not change a thing I grew up in the best of times. the 50's 60's 70's 80's and 90's. Now times are different and I cannot tell the difference between country and pop music it's all the same and real rock and roll is about gone. All things must pass I guess.

Was just there last week. It’s the only lot left undeveloped but from what I gather there’s pressure to get it sold to build on. All that is left is the frame of the dock. We had to sneak in. We were on motorcycles so no doubt drew a lot of attention to ourselves. We didn’t stay long. My guess is someone would have approached us if we hung too long.

Yeap, it's a shame that impostor group wouldn't spend a few of their stolen dollars to preserve that site. Just shows, they're only in it for the money, not the history. Same goes for the home of the Van Zants. Has the impostor group put in even one red cent to preserve it?

The Lynyrd Skynyrd fans should bind together and unite and put their money together to buy that land and the pond and rebuild hell house and then make their money back by charging people to hang out at the hell house and fish from the docks and have fish fries and barbeques.

Hell no ,hate gate, if they build on that site they'll be gator bait , they should deem these grounds sacred in regards to the historical relevance of the rock and roll royalty , my hat's off to all the fine crafting melodically melded into the most epic masterpieces of our time or anytime into the future by the prince of Dixie ( both a poet and profit) and his Southern knights of the battle axe Ivory warrior of the keyboard as well as the glorious & angelic sounds of the honkettes , long live the Rock of L🐊S!!!

I was backstage at a SKYNYRD Show in 2017 here in Southern California, and i was wearing an old SHOWCO shirt, Gary walked up, shook hands with me, placed his left hand on my chest, right on the SHOWCO logo, looked at me and said: That’s Sum Good Stuff Right Thar ~ I Was Blown Away ..! God Bless LYNYRD SKYNYRD 🎸🎸🎸🙏
