Will be forever the most iconic in my book. I really loved Shin Segi’s part though, he was so rough and dangerous yet in reality he was just a lost kicked puppy who was in reality very gentle. To me his love was so pure, all he wanted was love, acceptance and to live but he was trapped in the childhood where he saved his first love and would do anything for her. He was made out to be a villain or monster, when in fact he was the probably the least dangerous of them all and is the one who saved them all and handled all the brunt of all the pain, mental and physical. Even when he threatened the doctor and choked him, he was in survival mode still, scared that he would disappear so soon after finding his love was still alive after all that time. The idea of disappearing all together terrified him. Each one of us are known for having a personality, but in reality we have all kinds of parts of us that mesh together as a whole, that give us one distinctive personality, but unlike us, he was broken into multiple distinctive bits, and each one was real, they were all a part of him. It broke my heart to say goodbye, because she honestly fell in love with each personality in one form or another. I guess, in the end, he got what he wanted; Love and acceptance and to know she was going to be okay. I know in real life that’s not how that works, I had a friend with multiple personalities and it’s not like this at all. But I really appreciated the spin on it, and that you really need people in your corner when it comes to mental health, people who will still love you, all of you.
