These are some really pretty and unique zines, made even more unique by the sneak peeks of your totally rad nailpolish as you were showing the zines! And zine cat Asimov is adorable as always! I also really dig the intro design/animation for Sea Green Zines. So pretty! I'm definitely looking forward to International Zine Month! Haven't watched your vids in a hot minute, but I just noticed that the Meditation Funnies #20 cover looks like an updated version of the old Bozo Texino character that old hobos would draw on Train Boxcars back in the old days. My father DJ Frederick showed me a documentary years ago, which is how I recognize that drawing ^_^

Random pick: "The Best Things in Life are Free" is also a 1992 single by Luther Vandross and Janet Jackson from the movie "Mo' Money". A great song I actually heard on the radio today! It's also another one of those songs where they don't play the rap part on the radio. At least it doesn't have as much filler as Jessie J's "Pricetag". I appreciate you too, Nyx!

It truly was a long overdue trade, but I'm so glad we've connected now. My plants did, indeed, get their water and it has been really, really rainy... it's actually raining right now as I type! LOL at that postcard being Nina's art, not Edward Gorey's... I just did a zine trade with her, too!! I love her art so much. The zine world is such a small world in the best of ways. PS: No worries, it is totally okay to show my PO box in the future! I should have let you know that in the letter but I didn't think about it at the time.

It's been a bit more sunny than expected around here, but winter will gear up soon enough. Oh that's fantastic that you did a trade with Nina! She's so fabulous. I'm totally smiling ridiculously right now because I love zine friends making connections. Ah, thank you. It's okay. I just get a little paranoid about showing off anything I shouldn't. But I'm glad it's all good. Covering addresses is something I generally do by default so I don't think to ask in advance.

That illustration very much makes me think Edward Gorey, love his illustrated intro to PBS masterpiece mystery. And If you ever do your own roll for zine i'd love to see it! i adore that series (plus i just love seeing how people do things and what they use!) and if you do it i might feel less scared too :) I also loveeee witchy stuff so seeing hag witch was such a treat (and i might let seeing it inspire me to make something about my true love sigils)

Haha. Yes, I must have heard it in advance. I was curious if it would have any impact on the flavour, but it didn't. And, unfortunately, the bagels were a bit salty for my tastes. But I was still happy because it's been ages since I've tried something new. I'm so glad you liked it! I was thinking of you the whole time. It was about time. Haha. I want to do more pleasure wandering about when I'm able. Australia is definitely quite the mix of brick and stone - and other things. Especially when you get out of the capitals.

To answer your question, the language I hear/speak in my dreams depends on who appears in my dreams. If it's family members, it's always in Hebrew. If it's friends or coworkers, it's in English. I rarely, if ever, dream in French. And I don't ever recall dreaming in German or other languages I am trying to learn. But I mostly dream of family members so yeah, mostly Hebrew.

But there was this one time I dreamt I went to see Rammstein live, and at some point, James Hetfield (Metallica) walks onstage and starts speaking to Till Lindemann in German... I just don't like anything mean. It sounds dumb since life can be pretty mean and I'm all in my life all the time, and April Fool's Day bothers me. You're not alone. It's funny to have you be so upfront in this video (first time watching) when I was very shy about it. I even try to turn what I hate most about it upside-down so this month my Patrons got 3 mails full of goodness and fun and jokes that aren't reliant on a victim. LMAO Happy Fall, lady!
