This channel appears dead. Nothing for 9 months. It’s poor there is no message to inform those that followed this channel if there will be more videos. I find it disappointing that channel creators get an audience then just stop,with no explanation.

Here in Minneapolis. 11/3/23. We just bought a 2015 Leaf S with 68,000 miles on it, 24kw bat. and 11 bars. Charges to 87 miles on the guessOmeter. Really covers 99% of our driving, just plugging in 110v at home. Haven't tried trips yet, but look forward to it. I'm doing pre-heating while plugged in. Orginally thought we'd just have this for a year, and then buy one with longer range. But we like this one so much, we might put off a newer one longer and rent electric for longer trips like visiting relatives in Cape Breton.

I figured out the problem with mine. The factory plug red and black wire pins were installed backwards. Yeah, from the factory. That’s why it would never turn red to charge. Switched the red and black wire on the plugs and it worked

Great review, good to hear of an early LEAFstill running fine, commentators here in the UK slag off the early LEAF for its looks but I like it, I did wonder about an IMEIV or a C-ZERO now that's what I call a futuristic look. I've been running an 8 yr old 'S' TYPE JAGUAR 3.0 but due to Corvid and my disability (right leg paralyzed below the knee and a collapsed left lung) she sat in the street for weeks on end without getting used at all so I found her a new home last August just a few miles closer to Edinburgh.

I'm pretty knowledgeable with this stuff and have to say these new connected vehicles dropping mobile connectivity due to network obsolescence is ridiculous. 3G is a digital network so in essence it's entirely possible to offer a simple piggy back module that plugs inline converting the newer frequency to the old standard without costly replacement hardware but the manufacturers have created a scheme from the generation gaps by pushing expensive hardware upgrades which shouldn't even be required. It's not just Nissan but Tesla and a number of other companies that have been doing this as well. Just one of the latest in new money making trends from auto manufacturers and the lack of provided support is convenient for them as this only get's customers into newer models that much faster. At the very least they should offer a bluetooth/wifi downgrade module with a new app that allows the owner to retain the same functionality albeit with reduced localized range. My suggestion is find the relay for the heater in the fuse box and wire up a 12v universal bluetooth/wifi wireless switch to it. At least you can control basic functions that way as an alternative until a 3rd party manages to find a solution. There are guides online how to do this that use a third party app with a timer function to control it. If you find a solution Mike please share, curious to find out what people are doing to solve this. #RightToRepair

I don't believe I've ever heard of a mattress-like pad for tents. I'd still personally prefer an RV, though. Tesla needs to get busy on a nice RV.

Cool video. The only thing is it seems like you got totally ripped off in 2021 at the mechanic. Lets calculate: 2 tie rods say $20 each x2 2 Control Arms say $80 each x2 Brake pads all around say $200 Rotors all around Say $400 Fluid flush $10 Total parts = $810 So you got charged like $2200 in labour for maybe a 4 hour job max. Probably closer to 2 hours if they are familiar with the car.
