I always loved these after school specials. The phone number they show at the end is still the same number to call and report child abuse today

14:38 "Zero" is sometimes said at the ends of NASA rocket launch countdowns to denote the start of their missions. However, "zero" can also be displayed after New Year's countdowns to denote the start of said year.

I used to watch this series back in the day... it was definitely fun and entertaining and it didn't deserve to be cancel after a short season. A pity. Thanks for the memory trip!

Cool episode. I love the IH Fleetstar and the Transtar II in it. Does the Fleetstar run on Diesel fuel or Gasoline? In some scenes in the show like 7:52 and 41:58 you hear a Diesel engine and in others like 15:15 and 25:06 sounds like a Gasoline powered engine. I'm a bit confused. Is the truck Diesel or Gas? Still a cool video and episode. And still love the trucks. Please and Thank you.

Fleetstars in the 70s could be had in both gas or diesel… don’t be confused but sounds in tv or film, as both use post editing…. Part of which is adding sound effects that match the device, animal, environmental, and human - animal - vehicle movement noises. The job title of that particular film crew occupation is a “Foley Artist”. Have a great day!

@@Robertlynschultz Okay. Thanks. But still, is it still "Diesel or Gasoline? Just last minute checking.

Wow that babysitter did the right thing by reporting Bryan's mother abusive behavior to the child protection angency because if she hadn't her new friend and his younger brother wouldn't have been killed by their own mother.

Marcus Garvey spent his childhood in post-slavery Jamaica. Yes, Jamaica had legal slavery until 1863. He did not have the economic power or social standing to be "racist" historically. In fact he was subject to severe social constraints imposed by others because of his race. As he grew into manhood, his efforts were concentrated on uplifting an oppressed people and giving black people safe spaces to express their conditions. Marcus Garvey rose above tremendous odds to establish the legacy of global equality.

The British government ended legal slavery with the Slavery Abolition Act of 1833. As a British colony, Jamaica adopted the resolution in 1834.

The end of Marcus Garvey's movement to free Blacks came when Whites confiscated his ships and had him committed to a sanitarium. This was to stop any Black violence and uprising.
