There’s a secondary attack effect from the untidy tiles layout in front of you to irritate other opponents and cost them more time and focus to read and remember your tiles. An added upper tier strategy is to layout the flower, eat, pong, gong tiles upside down or “upside down, right side up, upside down, right side” up in front of other opponents to cause confusion and consume their mental and emotional resources.

Okay, saw some people talking about Yakuza 0 here, so let's get a different wave in here: Who's here bc they binge re-watched Konami Arcade Championship VODs, which just so happened to inclue Mahjong Fight Club, which is an Arcade game by Konami, and this just popoed up in the algo? (Yes, it's in prep for this weekend's KAC streams and YES, IK that they're using the Japanese rule set in MFC, it's definitely easier to understand it with the basics)
