Thanks, Elizabeth! 🙂 I’ve thought about maybe selling Mac-style sweaters, but I haven’t pursued it because dogs are such different shapes and sizes - it’d probably be hard to do without the dog being able to try it on as I work on it. 🤔 I may do little, knitted Mac ornaments around Christmas time though 😉

I haven’t used a specific technique or video I could recommend unfortunately - It’s mostly me tinkering around with my middle school algebra skills 😅 But I’d recommend looking into videos from Very Pink Knits, Nimble Needles and Ashley Lillis. I believe they all have videos on this topic and are great at explaining knitting techniques 🙂 I also included some notes on how I graded the pattern in my comments above to @lisagreenb1 in case you’re interested. 🙂

@@calicoradio_knits I have it! I am just wondering how to modify it the same way. Did you use a formula or just reduce it by X # of stitches?

@@lisagreenb1 Gotcha, perfect! I graded the pattern using my updated gauge which was 10 sts by 15 rows. Since my new gauge was 1 st per 1 cm, it made grading the stitch counts pretty easy - I just divided the stitch counts given in the pattern by 1.5. Sometimes I had to round these numbers up or down to account for the pattern’s increase rounds (if, for example, I should increase by 4, but the stitch count was only coming out to 3 sts increased). I also had to reduce the number of rounds I worked, but I did that rather ad hoc - I adapted the amount of rounds to reach the updated stitch counts and also just by trying it on. I unfortunately didn’t save my written notes (because I just moved), otherwise I’d send them your way! I hope this helps🙂

Thank you! I picked up stitches around the edge using a very long cable needle and then knit an i-cord to make the edge - the I-cord repeat was *knit 3, knit 2 together, slip 4 stitches from the right to the left needle*, repeat * *. 🙂
