Having an HOA is basically you hiring your own drill sergeant but worse you pay them to abuse you 😂

Too many renters are more abusive to the property than an owner would be. Just primate psychology at work.

And again there is an easy fix, DONT BUY ANYTHING THAT HAS ON HOA attached. YOU ARE THE ENABLERS.

My house is 690 ft.². It was built in 1900. So it’s not really considered a tiny house but it’s very definitely small. For a single person or a couple it is wonderful. And it’s built solid.

Why did institutional investors wait until this time in history to “buy up” all the most affordable homes? Anyone? Is this actually what’s happening?
@julianparks332519 сағат бұрын
? Why is that. Its a big road block

1) There should be an incredibly high bar for foreclosing properties. Not only HOA, but it n general 2) HOA covenants may not overrule personal privacy It’s time there is a legislation passed

America is a bit confusing, you can own the land but not whats in it. That is a very strange concept to me. In my country if you own the land then you own everything in it very simple.

1 We dont like that they buy older homes to make them into rentals 2 we also don't like when they build new homes for rent. 3 we also don't like when they allow us to rent an ADU or garage conversion 4 we also don't like the quality of the rentals in 5 years, we blame the materials not the renters Lol
@KristinaSmallhornКүн бұрын
We don't like that they are removing the ability for qualified buyers to buy an affordable home. We don't like that they own so much they control market prices.

I know you wont reply after this. I havent watched your lives in months and coming back to one really is a reality check. But the truth is there is one HUGE hole in your entire argument that is never addressed. Its too controversial, for anyone to touch it. Once you realize it, you'll realize that's the reason rents will never come back down again and the demand will stay high unless this country returns its millions of newcomers back to their homes.
@KristinaSmallhornКүн бұрын
@@user27278 oh look 👀 I’m replying. I just don’t think your argument doesn’t hold merit. It’s been the same argument since the dawn of the USA, blame the Irish, blame the Italians, blame the Jamaicans, it’s all propaganda to make people angry and not look at the people who are actually pulling the strings.

@@KristinaSmallhorn it's ok kristina, I still ❤️ you but we ain't in 1950 anymore. I am Mexican myself and even I can see it. You cannot exercise away a bad diet, just like you cannot build homes faster than unchecked immigration.

Can individual modules be purchased individually and gradually added on as needed? Can I buy a two bedroom modular home and then add another bedroom later? Or maybe the equivalent of a standalone efficiency apartment with rooms added on later?

My home market value went up. I can’t complain. But… market value increases means more property taxes! So… I get to pay 200 more a month to cover my taxes. 🎉 Renters complaining about rent increases… realize that the landlord is probably paying more on their mortgage. If your rent goes up at the end of your lease… keep this in mind.

I rented from home equity for 5 years. Prices went up every year despite them doing nothing to make the home better. We had a pipe leak, they cut a hole in our kitchen ceiling and never fixed it. Rent became so high we left.
