It’s not a right if felons can’t buy guns or vote. A constitutional right is something you can’t lose. No matter what you do. Somehow felons lose their first And second amendment right to protest/vote/carry guns. That’s a privilege not a right at that point.

The thing is when they say gun ban. That doesn't mean that there are no guns. You can have a gun in most countries. There is just higher requirement you have to fulfil in owning it. Like having a hunting license or etc. You need to prove that you can handle a gun, know gun control and have the mental capacity to have the responsibility to own a gun. And also no military weaponry. Becasue when people say they need semi automatic guns to protect them self they are just kidding themself. A handgun or a huntingrifel is more than enough. Just look at Switcherland that has I believe has almost as many guns per capita as US but they don't have shoout or massacars. Becuase they have strict laws and everyone has to do military training to handle weapons. The problem in America is is toooo easy to get a gun. You bairly has to have a credit check. You can order them online home. You don't have to even have shot a weapon before owning it.

I'm from the UK, we do have guns but it is highly regulated. You have to do a lot including being interviewed at your local police station, having them speak with you Dr. After that you have to earn the certificate for the different types of guns. And the police are allowed to take it away if you don't respect it.
