Thank you so much! That is the best way I have tried so far! Center first try after watching! The conning is really hard for me though. Do you stand?

I hold a wet sponge over at the right side to prevent mushrooming and to stay centered. 1 1/2” PVC works great, cheap.

Anyone have a problem with them sending a wheel that doesn’t plug into 110V in United States? They sent me a 180V wheel w a 220V plug. They are not replacing it but telling me to get a transformer. WtHeck. :(

How did you make the indentations at an angle on that one pot? It looks so cool. Looks like sideways finger imprints from the inside out.

Bottom of the mug should be wider than the top to give it a good low center of gravity. More stable

I was a high fire stoneware potter for 15+ years. Your temperature for cone 10 is 2,400, then reduction atmosphere. Maybe you made an error on your temperature. Gotta hit 2,400 degrees.

Your glazes must have to be thinner to use many layers. Do you do hydrometer readings or just mix like 2% milk?

I'm usually a fond of angular pottery. but isnt it impractical to have the interior bit shaped as a cylinder? I think it's called butter bell for a reason. you don't want butter lodging in the corners because then it'd get rancid. you want this type of vessel to be absolutely easy to keep prestinely clean and ultimately have no corners.
