You will start to see the plant getting taller and if you look carefully in the center there is a small bloom starting. The plant is taking energy from the leaves to the roots to supply the upward growth and development and dispersal of the seeds. In full bloom the seeds will float with the wind the same way a dandelion seed disperses. That is also the reason for the upward growth at the end of the cycle.
