Thank you for the painstaking work you do, I wonder if machine learning could be used to scour thru thousands of photos of dorsal fins, flukes or eye spots to find a match.

NEM NO ALCATRÃO SABEM CONDUZIR, E VAO FAZER FIGURAS DE URSO PARA AS CANADAS de terra limpa!!!!

This whale could easily overturn the boat. Why aren't you using a bigger more rigid boat?

They are based on manatees
@Glassandcandy
@Glassandcandy 2 ай бұрын
@@mechwarrior13no they’re not. Mermaids show up in European art as early as Ancient Greek period. Europeans didn’t know about manatees until the 1500s. When they discovered manatees they confused them for mermaids at first, not the other way around.
@banba317
@banba317 2 ай бұрын
@@Glassandcandy Not necessarily true; Manatees also live off Western Africa and a huge area stretching from East Africa at the Madagascar Straight, up the coast into the Red Sea all the way to Suez. They range in coastal waters of the Persian Gulf all the way around the Indian Subcontinent, through East Asia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Guinea, Australia, Indochina, China and the Philippines. Marco Polo sailed home from China circa 1290 all throughout those regions of the Indian Ocean to Persia. If he didn't see one, he certainly heard of one. In those regions they are called Dugongs or Sea Cows. The Phoenicians circumnavigated Africa in 600 BC! They had colonies in Spain, France, Sicily, Italy, and North Africa. They traded with the Greeks, and all Mediterranean cultures and even as far as Galicia on the North West Iberian Coast. The Greeks are surely Europeans. It is unlikely Europeans never heard of Manatees before the 1500's.

I'm not sure, but it appears to look more like a humpback whale than a sperm whale. Looking at the head when it's up, it might be the angle? Hard to tell what the fins look like since they're tucked to the body. I could be mistaken. Either way, I wish I could see something so amazing! Maybe one day I'll be able to! Enjoy you guys!

I think they give birth around the same time because animals have mating seasons and woman's bodys can sync up even with pregnancies we've seen it with humans. It could be the same with whales.

BRAVO!! .. Thank You - Obrigado To everyone in beautiful Azores ( where I was born many years ago ) & to all around our world who are & have been doing their part in cleaning up the material things, unfortunately unnecessary air & water pollution from fuels & not only is another matter that our governments need to fix & quickly ,, . As wars continue non stop around our planet & as bad as that is yet the most important war is the one against pollution, .. prevention is & always will be the best medicine, but since we haven't done that till now we have no choice & must clean it up, hopefully its not to late for mother Earth & life on it , yeah us included...... Obrigado for the upload :)

Very interesting watch. Perhaps the "cute" vocals of the dolfin is more an invite to their prey . Lovely creatures, and they too have to eat. Sad for the menue

Super nice shots and thank you also for the explanations, through which one understands the meaning of some actions better. I have a question about that; If the dolphins get hold of one of the shearwaters - do they eat them too or are they not in their prey scheme?
