I wanted one since the day I demoed it in 2016 and I already own a Victory Kingpin. Then when my wife got her motorcycle license I convinced her to get the Octane and she loves it so much. I always find excuses to “borrow” it to get it out have a thrill ride! I always demo all bikes during the bike week since I live only 45 minutes from Daytona beach. I still love the Octane and will keep it until I die or it dies. I came from HD before turning toward Victory. I have never came back no matter how many Demos I have done of those new HDs. Indian comes close to what we have. Victory is a special breed and the riding range is so vast and it is happy no matter what RPM you are.

Never rode a Goldwing but the 2018 looks sleeker and less bulky than the previous generation. I will own one someday. Beautiful motorcycle!

LEDs may look cool but they don't look retro. Headlight LED is preferable for it's performance so I think they did the right thing. My XSR 125 has LEDs all around but then again it also has an LCD dash, it looks like a modernized retro, otherwise you really want those analogue dials and the old school lights.
