My favourite is, 'A man knows his age when he realises the moment that dyeing his hair would be counterproductive'.

I got a wooden paddle everyday from 3rd grade to 7th grade because I would not do my homework. The day it broke was the happiest day of my childhood. As an adult I needed and am thankful my parents cared and loved me and wanted me to be better. I was whooped not beat and I probably needed more!
