Anyway could you make indepth tutorial and explanation how to understand and edit voice so it would sound like in joe rogan podcast, where low end is crisp and sparkling and doesn't sound like soft muddy subwoofer... I dont know the terminology but you might understand what i meant with that

absolutely potatogod, stay tuned! if your interested I've recently done a video on a new really cheap fifine style xlr interface, you should deff check that one out., it sounds absolutely better with fifine and cheaper mics, and even better with more expensive ones, has dedicated buttons for levels of noise cancelling (hardware) a good amount of preamp gain, some fun podcast/discord/streamer features, and its under $50, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/np1ordWAyNC-cnk.html

Personaly i tried nvidia rtx30 variant moise reduction with this mic, it was my first time experimenting with nvidia, and bought my first dynamic mic, because condensers really sucks a$$ in room like yours or mine, voice sounds amazing, but editing audio is almost impossible... So with this fifine andn vidia noise reduction i only got bunch of extra background noise, even more than just leaving it with no noise reduction at all. But just standart obs noise reduction filter for me done wonders, no voice distortion and no noise in bacground, like i would be in a studio environment. While this shure is superior mich i do understand, the difference in audio quality is not reflected in difference in price. If you willing to dieal with few issues using fifine, i think its really a shure killer... I mean i would Only buy shure if i would be a pro with serious podcast or infinite deep pockets just to get that extra little bit of quality i and my wievers cant hear. I think fifine is not shure kilker in many ways, but it shure killer in other... Just the fact you can get that kind of quality for 60-70 usd, there bunch of people sho would rather buy fifine than shure... There where fifine kills shure
@YoukayTV
@YoukayTV 13 сағат бұрын
yea, while i think fifine is a fantastic option for budget and getting started, there are better in that price range, especially if sound quality is important. I've recently been introduced to maono stuff and its shockingly good and similarly priced!

@YoukayTV

uhg, must be a filezsize issue or something, the 4k files get pretty big, did you save them to your camera roll from the mimo app, now trying to download them off your phone? depending what platform its saving the files too will determine what resolution/size you can download them, any chance you can usb connect the osmo directly to whatever your trying to download them onto? then you can just drag and drop the 4k files, skipping the mimo > phone > export step

It's as you would expect for their top end products respectively, if I had to give the edge it would probably be to the XM5 for voice call, maybe because it has more, and bigger mics? I've been told its phenomenal by people on the other end. APP2 sound pretty amazing too though, i speak to people using them all the time, very good quality mic for the size

@jyothishtr6460
@jyothishtr6460 2 күн бұрын
If you have apple ecosystem then I would recommend the airpods. They are so great! Otherwise I would suggest buying the XM5 Then again you have to consider other factors like whether you want something that is easily portable or if you use it for longer hours, etc But for what you have stated here I would suggest go airpods pro 2 if you have macbook and iphone otherwise go with xm5👍
@YoukayTV
@YoukayTV 2 күн бұрын
Agree with the other commentor, if your surrounding is really oisey, you will get much better isolation from that with the XM5's, then with noise cancelling, it will be perfect. But if your already in the apple ecosystem, you just have to go with the AAP2's, they just work so well with other apple products.

Good to see an honest review, I think it's a wonderful microphone for the money but it's good when people share their bad experiences with something as well. Nvidia broadcast makes every microphone sound terrible especially when there's a lot of reverb background noise, you could have a 4k dollar mic and it would sound awful in that room and probably even worse with the Nvidia noise reduction and reverb removal. I bought about $100 worth of acoustic foam which isn't great but it got rid of about 90% of the reverb but it doesn't make my microphone sound funny. Lion the wall behind you with some acoustic film or panels, put some in front of you and some directly behind you and if you got hardwood floors add some rugs, it'll cost a few hundred bucks but it will make your audio sense so much better. But I've never had a problem with OBS on a firefight microphone, I can run whatever VST plugins I want on OBS and I don't have any issues but the Nvidia thing I stay far away from that. I was highly disappointed with how bad it makes a microphone sound I mean you will sound like you're underwater or something when you turn that on but that's what happens with most things that remove reverb, removing reverb from a recording is unbelievably hard for something to do and keep the sound quality good.
@YoukayTV
@YoukayTV 9 күн бұрын
Super insightful comment Danny, Thanks so much for taking the time to give great feedback!!! Yep, unfortunately no amount of sound dampening foam would fix this spaces echo, its just too big and oddly shaped, luckily, the dereverb and denoise in premier pro can handle it like a champ if i record with a good mic, and i switched to a rode videomicro 2, which sounds phenominal for the price and can be manipulated in post to sound so good!

@@YoukayTV Your welcome, i enjoyed your video, A big room is not a bad thing but a empty room is. cloth couches and chairs, rugs, carpet, beds, acoustic pannels or any soft surfaces in the room can improve the reverb a lot. the more soft surfaces the better. Actually in a small square room the reverb bounces back and forth even more. A rectangle room will be better. A big room is not a bad thing, some reverb can dissipate in a large room before getting back to the mic. but any empty room will reverb like crazy, u know a strange shaped room or a room with walls that are not parallel are the best for reverb with some stuff in it to absorb the reverb.. but any empty room without soft surfaces or without a bunch of junk of the sound wave to bounce off of and deflect it in a different direction will reverb like crazy. my room is just a bedroom with a bed, a bunch of junk in it and some cheap foam, it does somewhat descent. any ways just a little info on reverb and rooms lol.. have a great day..

What are you talking about saying that everyday people are going to suffer because of this technology? Technology is an amplification of our abilities and as such boosts living standards and grows the economy. Give me one example of when new technology has caused unemployment in the past. The invention of the weavers loom, the auto-mobile? Look at the statistics.
@YoukayTV
@YoukayTV 11 күн бұрын
mate, you are so far off the mark on this one, I'm debating making another video about it: on what planet do you think that all these "profit first" mega corps who are at the forefront of this AI push are doing any of this for "the sake of humanity!" the corporations who are developing this stuff are the same corporations that treat their own employees so poorly, who only care about one thing. profits. not making our lives better, or easier in any way shape or form, just profits. this isnt the 1900s industrial revolution my friend. we live in a hyper capitalistic society controlled by a handful of mega corporations that continue to transfer wealth from the poorest people to the wealthiest people. comparing a weavers loom, a purpose built tool to solve a specific problem, VS machine learning designed, specifically, to replace high labor costs first and formost, are not really the same thing.

@@YoukayTV Thank you for your reply but you sound like a Marxist. Of course large corporations go after profit but in order to create profit they have to look after their customers. If we did not have free market economics we would not even have smart phones now. No, I am convinced that the overall effects of this new AI technology will be beneficial to nearly everyone. We may get to a point where AI can do almost any job that a human can do in which case a form of universal basic income will become inevitable but that's the choice of the people, they can vote for in when it comes along.

Thanks for your comment mate! I agree with what your saying, but the difference a lot of those skilled jobs you mention have relationships built around them, like your examples, tax accounting, graphic and webdesign, copywriters... a lot of them fall into small biz/freelance, like myself, who luckily have built strong relationships that AI wont immediately replace (but eventually will!) no one, not even the employers care about unskilled workers because its usually a stepping stone job, with massive turnaround, and the easiest / cheapest entry into market imo.

@YoukayTV
@YoukayTV 12 күн бұрын
not sure why you took my trepidation as fearmongering, AI has already essentially replaced my career due to the competitive (free) pricing someone unbeknownst to the industry will inevitably choose, rather than pay a human with decades of experience a fair price, for a better service rendered. when a company offers your craft, you've worked on for half of your adult life perfecting, as a "free addon" to a service they are already paying for, that's what I'm talking about here. I mentioned several times in the video, of course AI is going to be beneficial, but, at what cost. its a fair and valid question, and I agree with most of your points. however, i don't think our current society is setup for the inevitable large number of layoffs that this technology will create. i think its great menial tasks can be done by technology! but at the cost of a already struggling worker, thats a valid concern, and will need to be figured out here in the near future.

Speaking of your comment with replacing hotel receptionists, it's such a dream come true for us introverts 🤣But seriously, it is gonna be way more efficient and might help steer people away from the easy jobs and maybe join trades that are always beneficial to all of us, like blue collar work, or maybe make them pursue their dreams! Why not have AI do the entry level jobs, maybe then they can pay management better in the long run and the quality of available jobs will actually be better. I think like any tool it depends how we use it. We need to move away from AI learning art and let people create art with all the extra time they have from AI doing labor!

I disagree, specifically for food service. As a customer dealing with a robot won't make my experience better, the companies won't charge me less and there's less jobs overall. The upside may come later, but from the perspective of the consumer it's all downside

@@tincanstantheman I hear you. I think the answer to those problems is always going to be better pay. These corporations need to pay a living wage, however many humans they employ. Until we hold companies accountable for slave wages it doesn't matter what other changes are made. AI will make corporations money, in a perfect world they would pay workers better because of it but we live in a dystopian greed fueled society so that isn't happening without a fight.
