New York Café is the most touristy place in the city, it does look cool but its very expensive and the serve you get is just mid quality. If you want something similar I would recommend Párisi Udvar. It's a hotel but they have a café you can visit and the quality is way better there and there isn't such a big line. It's still expensive but not as expensive as new york. Or I can recommend the Gerbaud confectionary. It also has a beautiful interior but again its not a café but a confectionary, but its one of the best in the city and it also has a similarly rich history as new york. But there are many more similar places. And about the prices: Budapest is getting very expensive. Its starting to reach prices of London and Paris. All thanks to our great goverment who managed to fuck up the whole country, (Not counting East Germany) We used to be the richest and we were the most progressive post communist country in Europe and today we are the second poorest country in the EU. But anyway I don't know how long you are staying but I would realy recommend to check some Places in the countryside. Szentenre for example is a great day trip from Budapest. Or maybe Lake Balaton (Tihany, Balatonfüred), or Eger. And I could go on. And also most tourists miss a lot of great places in the city. For example when you are in the castle I would realy recommend to check the northern part of the castle district. The castle is the district surrounded by the wall and the building with the green roof is just the palace. So there are streets there with beautiful buildings from the middle ages. And also a promenade at the castle wall with a great view. And I also recommend Margaret Island if you have time, its basically a big park but it has a very good vibe. And also a lot of people only visits the Jewish quarter and the basic atractions but I would encourage you to visit other places aswell. For example I think one of the most beautiful part of the city is between Liberty bridge and Elizabeth Bridge. But there are many more cool places to explore and of course visit the basics: Parliament, St Stephens Basilica, The castle with the palace, Fishermen's bastion and the Mathias Church, Heroes Square and the city park with Vajdahunyad castle and the Széchenyi Bath. Also I would realy recommend to visit a bath while you are here. Széchenyi is the most touristy but there are other very cool baths you can try that are less crowded. I hope it was helpful and have a great time while you are here ;) edit: VERY IMPORTANT! Don't use taxis They will scam you if you just wave down a taxi. Use the app Bolt or Uber instead both are reliable and a littlebit cheaper than other companies and they won't scam you. For public transport you can by 24 hour 48 hour or 72 hour passes. If you stay longer than 72 hours than by a 15 day pass its only 500ft more than the 72 hour. When you by it its already valid so you don't have to validate it just show it when a ticket inspector asks you. They are the extremely rude people with the purple armbands. Oh and if you want to go up to the castle I don't recommend using the funicular (it doesn't worth it) there is regular buses up to the castle that you can use with your pass or you can walk up.
@MakeAdventureHappen21 сағат бұрын
Thank you for all the tips! I am in Budapest only for a short visit - doing a long journey and my goal is to get back home using buses and trains, and I'm getting very close to the finish line (so, I'm tired after long traveling).

I have enjoyed your Korea tour clips including Busan, Songdo, and Seoul. It was rare to see the foreign travel vloggers stay in Bucheon, a totally different city away from Seoul, however, I would say that it was a wise move to save your costs. The painting you were curious about in this video was a copy of the famous painting drawn in 6 or 7th century (yes, I am talking about 600 AD here). All Koreans know about this painting because it is in our textbook and an iconic figure represents the vibe of our ancestors in the country we called Goguryeo (37 BC - 668 AD). I hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for the commet! :) I have been to South Korea again, and honestly - I really like Bucheon. I would say that I prefer living in Bucheon to Seoul, and visiting Seoul when I want to see more people and get more of everything. On the first visit, we chose to stay in Bucheon because it was cheaper for a month and when booking at the very last moment

@MakeAdventureHappen now it's it's July. The hottest month. The temperature is about 50-55 degrees. No water heater is needed, the water can sometimes boil at 11-12 pm at Its hottest. We also have to take showers at sunset or night. Some people have AC, coolers, or a fan around their water to make it cold or warm. For us, we still haven't installed anything that could solve this problem 😅. ACs are everywhere and heat isn't much of a problem. Almost every event here comes in winter. We still go to shopping malls and restaurants and closed areas in the summer. Kuwait is a nice country but you need someone to guide you to good places because there's not much media coverage in English.

60 000 Serbs were ethnics cleansed in Pristina when NATO came,like all.Inluding my grandparents . NATO troops came to their appartment where they lived since it was build in 50s ,just 400 metters from Grand Hotel ,they sad they cant guarantee them safety so they must live.They gave them just one hour to live ,so they even forgot family pictures so they lost forever . After they left member off KLA move in to their apartment and did want to leave .My father sold apartment to Albanian who he knew from childhood for like 1/2 off real price but even he could not move in becase that KLA member did not want to move out ,so for 15 years that Albanian could not move in apartment he bought and NATO did want to throw him out. Edit : From video 8:00 i see that new block build in Pristina after Yugoslavia are build same like in Serbia in same period ,no green spaces ,narrow pedestrian sidewalk with cars parked on it ,just build and sell apartments and dont care about anything else

Imagine living in Serbia/North Macedonia, where there are: a) no transpirational systems functioning b) the public transport is falling apart, lol and in 2024 there is not AC c) roads are fucked d) the new drivers are the only drivers in the world where they get a provisional drivers license, so they can't even drive e) even if someone in your family has a car, you still can't legally drive it because the driver's license doesn't allow you to drive it

@Bojan_Kavedzic6 күн бұрын
You have no clue what you are talking about
@Shemhamforaesh6 күн бұрын
@@Bojan_Kavedzic Sure: a) I've used the Belgrade transport system, if you can even call it that b) I've travelled through Serbia and see how poor the life of an average serb is, just because they can't even drive a car, because Serbia is the only country in the world that gives provisional drivers licenses after 18 years old. So people can't even get employed to drive. c) They can't drive their family car, because all of the cars have 86Kw+ which is ridiculously illegal for you to drive hahaha omfg So, there are not busses, once you get into one, you are already late 2-3h, they are falling apart, at 40+ degrees, there's no AC, you can drive your own car, you can't drive your parents car. And if you do you get absolutely harassed by Serbian police. So, yes, I have travelled from the Northest village of Vojovdina to the Southest village of Central Serbia. I know how terrible the situation is, and how all the youth go into EU just to even get a normal driver license with a normal chance of life....
@dzonikg6 күн бұрын
@@Shemhamforaesh Well you should know that its becase young drivers are not experience and drive fast ,that is why first few years then drive "weaker cars" ,110 HP is more then enough for young driver . Situation is not the best but for sure not the worst , i been to 90% off west countries and would not change any off them for my country even it has "problems" with insanely corrupts politicans. ITs super safe ,tons off people in the night ,i dont worry is my doghter safe outside. This is what the failure of leadership & failure of ideologies look like: --- the many, many BILLIONS OF DOLLARS put into these giant, fake marble columns and facades....now largely abandoned (too much & too expensive to maintain) .... COULD easily have been invested in normal, small, energy efficient single- storey primary & second schools, apartments & single homes for TENS of thousands of ordinary citizens in North Macedonia. People don't become poor or stupid & they certainly don't die, if they don't have or don't see these giant, fake ancient columns & facades in the centers of their cities. Countless ancient civilizations, big and small, and many modern societies, however, go bankrupt, when the people are taxed heavily and their taxes were completely wasted on mindless vanity projects like these here (by the low IQ politicians who schemed their way to the top)...
