Thank you for this video! I also do my own books, I got tired of buying and then regretting it. It's also fun to design with different covers and sizes. I do use Coptic stitch but don't put more than one folded paper per signature, that is how I got it to lay flat :)

Thanks for sharing! These were really pretty and educational. You've inspired me to draw some more of the plants and flowers around me. I live in northern Canada and up here lots of the little pinecone are coming back which is really nice to see. I can't wait for dandelion season when the whole city turns yellow haha.

A burnishing stone! I've never heard of that, but what a good idea. It drives me a little crazy when the paper gets a little rough/fuzzy. Will any palm stone work as long as it's smooth and well polished?
