can you hydro dip the spray guns

So I have a question if you could help. I print my own designs on hydro film. And alot of the time the picture spreads too much and doesn't come back to original size when in water and after adding activator. Also is their a way I have to prep what I'm dipping. For example I'm trying to make my own design on my ps5 controller but when I dip the color sometimes slides off like it's running and not sticking to the surface it especially comes off when I'm trying to rinse off what's left over of the film. Please help I hate wasting so much time and money. Thank you

But I'm a visual learner and I've seen double dips and rolls. But not one by a pro! It'd be really cool and great if you could do a helmet to show me the process you'd use!? 🙏 Please! Also, If I succeed and like the look on my full face helmet I'm going to airbrush 2 Dragons flying on the sides of the helmet!! The idea in my head is awesome!

Hey man, Was curious about clear coat, how long after dipping do you have to clear coat an item? The OHW clear coat aerosol has a shelf life of about 48 hrs once activated, and I'd like to make the best use of it. Thanks man love the content thanks
