Thanks for the video. It helps a lot! I have a question - When you develop an mobile app, locally I can host the API/database on the same machine to access data but when it is on app store, how does it work? Should I host my API/database on AWS cloud etc and point my mobile app to do REST API calls to the cloud? What is the right and populate flow for mobile app? There are no videos for this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

You can deploy the backend on the server as you mentioned and can use the base URL pointing to that server. This is basically the practice which industry follows
