This definitely resonates because I had a stroke in 2022. I'm still working on my speech, but I just don't want to talk to people, as much....

This month's Ask the Expert was a great way to learn about occupational therapy and exciting new technology that OTs use in stroke rehabilitation. Kristin and Becca's messages of hope and the power of neuroplasticity were so inspiring and encouraging.

The older we get, the more frailties come to the surface and more aware we are of our deficiencies. These neurological issues are the worse because they inhibit your ability to deal and manage your shortcomings and possibly catch them early on in its development. I've started to develop these symptoms myself and I'm only 47 years old but my ability to fluidly communicate with people either through verbal or text has seem to hit a barrier like the person said in this video.

I am wondering how to volunteer. This was so interesting but I have no idea how to volunteer in Connecticut. There seems to be a lot in FL, NC, PA and CA. I can’t figure out CT. I also listen to Brain Friends and was thinking of writing and asking Angie C.
