At 1:20, you mention getting the arc centered then jump over it. As a newb, I’m struggling to figure that out so will probably just consider my work “good enough”.

I Really want to like this software but without fail every time i try to follow along with tutorials from shapr3d or any other content creator i get half way through the video only to find out that something is not dimensioning on my end the way it is on the video or some parametric feature has been changed do to updates and no longer works the way it dose on the video. this is very frustrating and a waste of time. and dont try to ask anyone if there are courses or classes you can take they will just tell you to go watch this outdated video that you just watched and is useless now. shapr has become just another unfinished good enough to take your money software just like verybody else.

This is great, thank you, but what if you need to shift the bolt and nut EXACTLY to the surface of the flange? Alignment works great sometimes, but in this case (and many other) we need a double alignment: to the center of the hole and to the top surface of the flange. Can we align a body one way while keeping its another alignment? Thanks

You could have also patterned the hole itself with the chamfer, isn’t that the point of direct modeling?

I can’t cut imported stl files and this app is very problematic, since the parametric attempt. Very disappointed after using this app since 2019 until April 2024.

But what if the ellipse sketches are not all perfectly lined up, how would you go about sketching the rails? From what I can tell, there is no 3d sketch option.

Why these days, when I lift a model from a flat sketch, the existing sketch disappears? And other models around??

Lovely, but it’s sadly not showing some parts in their creation. Also what’s up with the (annoying) music?. Please do away with the music and add voice over with reasons explaining each step. Easy to get lost trying to see what is being selected and why. Thanks, keep up the great work.

why can't I simply sketch a rectangle by using TAB for dimensions, using only a keyboard, like I can do even in Interface Builder for Xcode. Why do I need to waste time each time finding and clicking the other side and entering it again, after I entered first? why it can't be - I put a rectangle of the face /grid -> I type first size, enter -> I type 2nd size, enter. and everything switch auto. It is so basic instrument and it is so annoying to struggle with that each time. I work on MacOS version, so I don't use pencil, I don't draw my dimensions, I want to be prescrue

It was my dream to use sharpr 3d on an iPad. My father gifted me an iPad just a few days back and the first thing I did was use guessed it downloading sharpr 3d. Thanks to the developers to make this 3d modelling experience so special especially on an iPad.

I was very confused and had to watch the entire thing to understand what we were actually making. Not sure if that is because I don't deal with automotive or not, but it may be helpful to point out exactly what we are making in the beginning by showing an example before beginning the new Project. Something like "We are going to make a 2D shape and use that to revolve it around 360 degrees and make a 3D base of the rim like you see here." *Show rim base*

It’s a great app but there are so many tools even super basic ones that are missing, some might be because of computing power on the iPad but most of the ones I feel are missing really aren’t a computing power issue, and it’s frustrating especially from an app that charges so much for subscription, too many times I want to be able to just comfortably model on my iPad comfortably but end up having to go back to my pc to actually get what I want
