Verstappen demanded this game be more realistic and they did a fine job. Yes these modern cars can take some corners flat out due to mechanical grip and aerodynamics. Also I love the pointy front end which is the way Max likes his car.

I am so glad i got this base... it was difficult but i saved so much cash getting my own gear and putting together my own wheels etc etc... you just gotta know where to look and its not always name brands. This wont be for everybody but for do it your self kinda folks it saved me on cash but i did not sacrafice quality. This wheel base is close to bulletprouf honestly compared to other brands with issues or have not bin tested form many years yet like OSW bases. However to most i reccomend something more plug and play with a simple ecosystem especially new folks to sim racing. I hope i don't sound crass just trying to keep it real. VRS doesnt hold your hand when it comes to good sim setups or good setups in general. honestly people like boosted media and Dan Sazuki give you better setup advice in one video with a few off hand tips lol. could just be me i like straight forward info not suck wholing on discord maze lol. good people but its most iracing centric. Howerver i love the filters in the software and everthing about the build quality of the VRS base it feels heavenly.

Just returned my g pro pedals, bought the simsonn ones instead. They definitely need to be tuned but once set up properly they are amazing. Way above something like the v3 csl and g pro. Plus they’re all metal and come in black and look fantastic. Don’t buy g pro when you can buy simsonn for 150$ish cheaper and much better

Actually, it would be more realistic if you let the halo bar be transparent. That would simulate more the 3d vision of a real driver. In real life the driver can see through the bar. Just put your hand in vertical position in font of your nose and you will understand what I mean. Other than that, great video.

Maybe it's just me, but last year's game I ran my wheel calibration at the default radius of 300°. If you did the same, FYI, this year's games default is 400°. Maybe that's what you are experiencing? Just a thought.

Well if and when they drop the price on this game in the future, I may get this game and if it does have VR. I also have F1-22 and F1-23 and enjoy them in VR mode. I am not a F1 Fan boy, just like the variety of different racing games. I am not fussy how game driving experience is far as handling, I just adapt to what the game provides and go with it. As long as I can keep up with and battle the AI, I should have fun with any racing game. I hope the game graphics and detail work fine with my RTX-3080TI Graphics card and using my Quest 3 VR headset. I will just wait till the STEAM price of F1-24 drops. Thanks for the video. Take care.

Thanks, great video and good to hear that it is not just me. With disconnected you describe what I felt in the couple of hours that I attempted to play it. I know I should not expect iRacing level feedback and I don't but this feels really bad. It is as if the wheelbase is only used to create some steering resistance but it does not let me feel what is happening with the car at all. In F1 23 this was definitely a lot better and I enjoyed playing that. In F1 24 after the issues to get it working on my rig (in the end I needed to disconnect the Simagic shifter and one of my button boxes for it to recognise my steering wheel). In the end after quite some laps in Spa I could get some competitive laptimes. But the handling does not makes sense at all. It is extreme oversteer on entry and then mid corner it suddenly understeers without any way of feeling what the car is going to do. So unless they release a handling patch I won't be playing it anymore. With more practice I can probably get used to it, but I don't want to. It does not make sense when compared to car handling in general so I am not going to waste my time on it. I did read a lot of similar comments and watched similar reviews also from high level racers such as esport drivers, which makes me even more dissapointed in the KZfaqrs that EA manager to get in their release video to praise the new handling model. I guess the sponsor money is that much....

What I'm hearing is better off bagging a cheap F1 23 now that the latest version is out :)

Moza r5 to R21 v2 upgrade here....Running with the Moza FSR or CS V2 wheel CRP pedals HGP/SGP shifter and SOON their E-brake.....LOVE MOZA ecosystem. Also what little customer support I needed was handle so professionally it has made me a Life long customer of theirs. I sent an email at 12am my time and had a response in less than an hour with steps to rollback my firmware and force an update (all my fault). They sent me replacement parts free of charge when I wore out my elastomers....I wanted to go to dual springs in my brake and they hooked me up. Love moza mounted to my RSeat N1 platform.
