Then i got all these horror stories that i might not be able yo breathe without the ventilator for weeks and other stories. I got panic disorder and anxiety disorder so this has been a fucking blast waiting for this. Im a big guy too that complicates it. 6'3 and 260 pounds.

Dr. Um sold me on getting snatched and failed to deliver. She did not provide information. She spoke in medical terminology and failed to talk to me like a normal person. Once I told her I was not happy with my results, she got very angry and unprofessional. She was no longer happy to see me and treated me with extreme disrespect. She has poor bedside manner. I definitely tried talking to the office manager multiple times and kept getting told “she will call you back.” I tried switching my surgeon to get a consult with a different doctor and was told I can’t because Dr. Um or the office manager have to clear my request. After months of trying to follow the only advice I was given, “lose 20 pounds and you should be happy with your results.” I have lost 20 pounds and I AM NOT HAPPY WITH MY RESULTS! I don’t want Dr. Um to touch my body ever again and I don’t want her getting paid more money when she didn’t earn her keep the first time.

Biggest mistake I ever made, was to quit smoking. I gained 140 pounds. I struggled with diet and exercise but I could not stop the weight from coming on. I went from a slim 135 pounds all the way up to a pot belly 275. My waist went from a 32 to a 50. I got kicked out of the navy for being obese and I lost my valuable retirement, if I could have stayed in. I developed severe sleep apnea and I'm a borderline diabetic. Had I known I was going to get fat like this, you best believe, I'd have never quit smoking. I'd rather get caner anytime, than have to spend the rest of my life, big and fat

I’m back again. I just remembered Talia Goldenberg died at this hospital after undergoing neck surgery. This young, beautiful lady with her entire life ahead of her was begging and pleading, with the staff telling them that she could not breathe. They ignored her and she died. They ignored the parents and she died. I wouldn’t bring my dog to this hospital.

@@providenceswedish what’s the point of voicing concerns when nothing is done. This is not just that your hospital. This is nationwide. This is a huge problem. I understand healthcare workers are burned out. They have personal things going on in their life. I respect and understand that but when you come into your job and you verbally abuse, someone who is disabled. The weakest members of society that says a lot about you as a healthcare professional. This woman you gave an award to I heard her with my own earsbecause there’s a recording of her that was posted in a group. She was downright vicious mean and malicious. I could not believe what I was seeing. And the patient she was abusing, happens to be one of the sweetest, kindest, thoughtful individuals. Someone who happens to be very sick, but has a moral compass bigger than any healthcare member at your facility.

I had intestinal surgery at an ER 6 weeks ago. They didn’t give me a chance to ask questions. They thought I had a hole in my intestines but the other 2 ERs I had gone to that same week thought I was dealing with a ruptured ovarian cyst. I’ve had ruptured cysts since 15 and the pain felt like what I’ve experienced many times in the past. I’m 46 now. Long story short, now I’m unable to have a normal bowel movement naturally and my surgeon has no clue why. He’s only done this surgery for 2 years. He had my intestines cut for 4 hours. I’m trying to find a specialist to help fix this and looking here hoping to find an answer. I have a feeling I won’t but really hoping I will.

Imagine trying to block or delete comments from people who have suffered at the hands of this nurse and other staff at this hospital. How much do you really care about the patients? Not once have they even tried to reach out to see how they can help the people who have suffered at this hospital because of this particular nurse. It’s all about saving and their reputation which unfortunately they don’t have a really good reputation.

I remember getting the calls and texts from a visit my friend had with this nurse and she was left with PTSD trauma relating directly to the inhumane treatment she was subjected to. It was very clear the nurse didn’t believe the patient and allowed her personal feelings to dictate how she performed her job which ended up causing permanent injuries. Regardless of personal bias, how you treat other human beings matter. Swedish seems to encourage an environment of bullying especially towards complex disease patients (both from folks I know and my own experience)

Giving awards to uncompassionate people sets and awful precedent for any hospital. A patient deserves to have the best possible care at their time of need. Suffering an indignity of this magnitude is unethical and unfortunately this happens more than it should.

This is shameful. I am not sure how she could have accepted this award knowing how she has treated patients in her past. Queena is a phony. She and her cronies ruin patients lives and show no remorse. Very cold, dangerous and calculating person. Would not trust her to treat anyone. Abuse of bedbound patients is no joke.

Swedish practitioners, especially Queena, inaccurately characterized a patient with severe conditions including hEDS, POTS, AAI, intracranial hypotension, and chiari malformation, damaging her credibility as a patient through their erroneous charting. Despite a longstanding diagnosis of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, documented by a reputable geneticist, they ignored or neglected her medical history and symptoms, attributing them to psychosomatic causes instead. They discontinued vital medications and care, and forcibly attempted procedures unsuitable for her fragile condition. This included removing essential medical devices prematurely and neglecting her urgent needs, culminating in unnecessary distress and humiliation after her catheter was removed and she was without a way to urinate. Their actions, including premature discharge without proper planning, suggest patient mistreatment and negligence, raising serious ethical and potentially legal concerns about Swedish's standards of care.

Queen Kim? For someone who is such a queen and was presented with this award I’m kind of shocked. Considering the fact, my friend was pretty verbally abused by her as a patient. Between the gaslighting, snatching her pure wick from her. And she’s not the only patient this has happened to. There’s a group on social media with her name mentioned many times by different patients. Instead of giving awards to your staff, why don’t you see how they’re actually treating people

I am 58 and the only male in my family to have MVP. I was diagnosed in 2005 with an echocardiogram. My symptoms are mild. Anxiety and panic attacks are common. They suck. I work out regularly. I don't drink or smoke. Heart palpitations are also common. Sometimes increases heart rate. Especially when I worry about something. But the anxiety attacks are the worst.
