I wanted to get on all fours to deliver because I did not use an epidural and was having natural childbirth but the doctor and nurses would not let me get off my back I had a really hard time at the end of my labor where the rest of it was easy…when I was not at the hospital. To “help” me push my child out he cut me from hole to hole without my permission and then did not inform me this is considered a tear. I was not informed anything about this so I did not know how to take care of the situation.

I had a 3rd degree tear with my 1st baby. Getting examined after birth was highly traumatic for me, even with a needle which was also painful. Healing from that was so hard and I was crying everyday for months. When I was told this happened to me, I went in shock, I had no idea this could happen to me. A part of me felt like I died inside. I had 2nd degree tears for my 2nd and 3rd babies, and the horror of getting examined after birth again, I was hyperventilating, panic attack set in and cried and cried. All while the Dr was stitching me up and 4 other students there watching without my permission. It was humiliating, my privacy gone, my dignity gone. I still cry to this day if I remember it. I want to heal from this trauma.

I had a joke about medication but people found it hard to swallow. They thought I was a real pill.

These guidelines are the reason why I can't get sufficient pain relief anymore. Been bounced around different clinics, trialled on random anti convulsant drugs, anti depressants and all kinds of stuff despite opiates always working for me. Doctors who have not personally struggled with debilitating chronic pain have no idea how damaging this singular message is. When did the quality of life for the patient go out the window?

You can literally hallucinate objects and beings into existence because what's happening is you're tapping into that pure abstract creative potential of mind. That's exactly what you want. Of course it can be kind of freaky but confusion is that times a thousand.

My mum have dementia, age 79 and 9 months, she had her hip replacement operation two weeks ago in Footscray hospital, Victoria. She was in hospital for two weeks. Operation was successful, doc said mum seen to have bit of delirium, I thought it was temporary… but She was never screened while hospital daily. She was on a catheter twice for about a week. I got her home few days ago, she still has reflex incontinence and wee at night. She did most nights while hospital after removing the catheter. Do you think her nerves are damaged using a catheter or dementia & delirium got worsened ? Pre surgery, she went to toilet middle of the night by herself. Now she urinate at night involuntarily and don’t seems to ask for help to clean her …. Please help ….

For many years i have acute confusion, i cant hold an idea for seconds everything vanish suddenly.. I feel emparrassed every time within conversations. I feel myself like an old man, i take time to understand things, i need to repeat the idea many times, i cannot do simple calculations mentally i cannot analyse things, i only keep silent in any conversation where ideas need to be given, i cannot give a decision over things because the idea vanish suddenly... Now only i know what delirium is and for very long years searching what is going wrong with me.. Because i am totally mentally disabled ( for some time or seconds).. It is very difficult for me to talk and play with my ideas, people always tell me that what am saying is not clear to them.. I know what i have that is not natural. Many times i only want to tell what i hold in my mind very quickly afraid that i will be lost and forget..i did not see a doctor because i cannot tell him what i have or i feel this is the part of my mentall illness.
