Accent bias definitely exists, it's generally associated rightly or wrongly with intelligence and education . Well spoken British Eng if my favourite. I find Australian very irritating

Hahaha - apologies for the irritating Aussie accent! I do understand though. And I think the Australian accent is only half the problem - it's all the slang we use as well! And I really like the British accent also!
