thanks for this vid! Question, I have a 2014 Rav4 and the unit i bought is very similar to this in specs and looks (2GB+32GB) Everything works fine except the volume. Either the volume of media/radio is on at one level or its completely off. I can't adjust the volume levels from the head unit or the steering wheel. It stays at one volume. Any suggestions?

Glad you found the video helpful. You should be able to adjust the volume on the headunit. As for the steering wheel controls, you have to go to settings on your headunit to "relearn" and pair the steering wheel controls to your new headunit

That's awesome! Gas mileage isn't as bad as I thought for a v8 surprisingly. It gets better gas mileage than my turbo 4 cylinder if I put the RCF in eco mode 🤣

man I have everything correct.. it wasn't working so I installed a new harness because I thought it was the connecter, it worked at first and then when I went to turn the car on again it wasn't working.. its the running light that won't work... I don't get it

That's a weird issue. It should be plug and play with no issues. You might be having some electrical issues with your wiring

Hi, I have a 2017 lancer es black edition with reverse camera but i do not have the rockford fosgate audio system. I was wondering whether i should get the RF01 or RF02 harness. Also would this Xtrons harness work with only xtrons head unit or other android head units as well.

What did you torque the banjo bolts for the brake lines to. Installing spoon calipers on my DC5 and the instructions doesn't have that torque spec.

Didn't have the instructions with torque spec too so we just had it torqued to hand tight by wrench.

Thanks. Mine came with everything with all the torque specs just don't have those in English or Japanese. Been looking online found 25ft/lbs for oem and 11ft/lbs for the Brembo just curious if anyone had a specs for them. Figured I could split the difference from the oem a go 15.5

Yeah I'm trying. I reached out to Spoon Sports use about the specs but haven't gotten an email back from them yet. That's where I got mine from so hopefully they get back with me tomorrow. Definitely don't want to lose my brakes or mess up the Spoon brake lines or calipers.

Have had mine for 7+ years and still puts a huge smile on my face. With mods, it really becomes a total beast. p,s, ISF and RCF 2UR are completely different despite the engine code (some complications in Japana around engine code made Lexus stick with the 2UR), but it shares nothing with the ISF and no parts are swappable. Major difference is the high-revving nature of the RCF 2UR so all of the internals were completely redesigned.

A lot of the headunits look similar but sound quality can differ. The Xtrons one is pretty good. I would recommend getting the 4gb ram, 64gb rom unit

@Chris-qc3uy They never came off. The vents aren't installed "properly" since most people take them out before painting which we did. I would recommend having the vents re-put on firmly

Where did you put the wifi and gps units? Does the gps unit have to be exposed to the sky like a Sirius/XM antenna or can it be tucked away? Also, where did you put the USB cables? I just ordered this same kit.

I had the wifi and gps units just tucked behind the screen. I had the USB cables just tucked away on the passenger side near the glove box

Thing about lexus is the aftermarket support sucks do to the fact "most" people do not want to take away the biggest factor of there vehicles which is reliability. Look at the isf its just now starting get some aftermarket support. Lexus build quality is great but they are not tuner friendly thats why so lil tuners in the US. No real reviews on the SC kits only 2 minutes of pulls or dyno nunbers, not real driver reviews. If these had good amout of aftermarket support the price would never go down for the iSF,RFC,GSF,LC500. Easy over 200k mile with good Maintenance

I agree. The Lexus F platform definitely has a lot less tuning support than the M cars. But we get reliability out of it

@TheJMedia but don't get me wrong if someone can find the sweet spot for the RR supercharger around 600wph with lil head work can get that reline to 7500-7800. Looking/saving for spare motor and trans then I'll go SC route but only 575-650whp not going 700+ almost 800-875 at the crank to much for stock internals to unsafe
