In awe of the mesmerizing one-handed solo that starts @3:15...I drifted back in time...and just have to leave a comment. Had the honor of meeting him and standing essentially 'next' to him when he played at Rutgers University Camden NJ in 1987. Blown away by his musicianship and gentle demeanor. Time flies.

Thankfully they had a second drummer in case he bolted. He was a heck of a drummer but a head case. When Cream and Traffic disbanded, Clapton and Winwood got together to form Blind Faith but didn’t tell Ginger Baker about their plans because he was a lunatic and they were afraid of him. The story goes that somehow he found out about it and showed up at Winwood’s cottage, sat behind Jim Capaldi’s drum kit and that was that. They were too afraid to tell him they didn’t want him in the band. Baker’s blow ups in the studio doomed the band from the start. They created one tremendous self titled album. Went on one US tour and broke up before the band even returned to the UK. Ginger Baker was a tremendous drummer and out of control crazy man at the same time. For a better understanding of his legend, watch the documentary “Beware of Mr. Baker”.

He was a nasty piece of work - jealous, insecure, narcissistic and a bully. He, shouldn’t have agreed to take part if he felt that strongly.
