The 800 cc Oreion uses the same motor as the John Deere side x side.... do the research and you can get parts from the local auto parts stores.... I have a 2016 Reeper4 and I have only had two things go wrong with it, the brake master cylinder (I got from AutoZone), and the ball joints (which was my fault, we were riding at night and hit a washout at about 45 mph), again I got the ball joints from AutoZone.... I didn't like the stereo system so I put in my own.... I moved the light wiring from the toggle switches to the turn signal connection, and the same with the windshield wipers.... the seats do suck, the metal framework isn't treated so they rust out.... I replaced mine with Can-am seats, and they are more comfortable.... I have gone through one set of tires, and I did have to adjust the gas gauge float because they register empty when it's only half empty.... I have the 1100 cc motor, and I did replace the stock filter with a K&M conical filter.... and I can honestly tell you that I haven't had any other problems than that with it, and I'm hard on my toys.... I'm retired and I go with my family on rides almost every other day, and always on the weekends, and I live in the desert, and we're surrounded by mountains, so we go up into the mountains, and explore the desert floors, and on an average, we put about 150 miles on it every time we go out (daily), it's an all day or all weekend event, and we don't come home until after dark.... at the time of this post, Oreion is working on there parts and accessories section of the business.... until then, with research, you can find the majority of parts from your local auto parts stores.... these vehicles come from the factory street legal with everything ready to go, while you'll sink an additional $3500 to make the other popular side x side street legal for your area.... and pay over $30,000 BEFORE making it street legal and that doesn't include the windshield and wipers, and you'll still be at the mercy of the motorcycle dealership that you buy yours from.... mine does everything I want to do with it, and I can get parts from the auto parts store.... and if you want to research any performance parts, there's plenty out there, and if you can't figure out what you want in the area of the motor, look under "Chery" that's the manufacturer of the motor and they have plenty of performance parts for their actual cars that are driven all over Europe and Asia.... I have thousands of miles on mine and I have had no serious problems with mine.... have fun, and stay safe....

Thank you, Sir, for your honest evaluation of your Twin Vee. Been wanting to buy a cat for some time and TV seems to be the most affordable way to get one. But, if you're having these problems I might have to pass on TV and look for something else. Plus, I've owned my Rhodan (24v) for several years on my 22' bay boat and the only time it doesn't work well is when the wind kicks up some serious waves and we're bobbing up and down like corks. That prop comes out of the water (even set at the deepest setting) and it's just not possible to hold firm. My boat ain't nearly as heavy as yours. I'm not even sure if trolling motors are designed for 5-6 ton boats. That's a LOT to ask from any trolling motor.
