Fascinating. I enjoy how he elevated human intuition above combinatorial machines. I'm #teamhuman too without necessarily pitting humans against machines but admitting the embodied, and perhaps sacred, spirit that makes humans creative - and conscious. When machines start making decisions in the same intuitive mode as humans, then we're wont to accept they're conscious. Maybe then, we can reverse-engineer them to finally understand consciousness. Brilliant presentation. Love the Galileo illustration.

Companies such as Apple, who are cooperating with the Russian government agencies to keep doing business in Russia, should also be sanctioned. Today, with the request from Putin's Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media, abbreviated as Roskomnadzor, Apple App Store removed VPN services applications used by independent media and others in Russia, according to Red Shield and Le VPN representatives. Roskomnadzor has been systematically shutting down various VPN services in Russia over past few years and two years ago began blocking complete VPN protocols. They have proudly announced Apple's cooperation in these efforts. Much of the Russian government officials, as well as members of Putin's propaganda machine, use iPhones.

I missed the live recording but grateful to receive the recording in my inbox. I enjoyed it and didn't realise she wrote A Mind for Numbers until she projected it. You can tell she's a genuine and deeply engaging lecturer. And this was a lovely recording.

Have you ever considered PPP investors? They literally have to invest 80% of their profits from MTN's on humanitarian investments, which equate to impact investing.

Excellent vdo lecture bt as a professional in my opinion financial economics is a social science which studies economizing behaviour of the people and it's consequences at both individual nd aggregate levels. The study of economics contributes a great deal to business decisions making like it offers clarity to the concepts nd variables that r used in business decision making nd in this way helps avoiding conceptual pitfalls,it helps in building analytical tools for analysing business problems in terms of finance nd their rectification too through various Parameters nd it helps in identifying the variables that r relevant nd significant in analysing the problem nd finding solution to the problem at micro nd macro level with respect to financial system as an overall Perspective in brief in my Economics behaviour is in fact, maximizing behaviour nd vry.important for managers nd top executives.Vry.Inspirng nd outstanding lecture.Thanx

Well explained vdo lecture bt.as a professional in my opinion Economics contributes a great deal towards the performance of managerial duties nd responsibilities.Managers with a working knowledge of economics can perform their functions more effectively than those with out it.The basic function of managers or executives of a business firm is to achieve the Objective of the firm to the maximum possible extent with the limited resources placedat their disposal in financial management nd related to Economics.Economics this provides analytical tools nd techniques that managers need to achieve the goals of the organization they manage so working knowledge of economics not necessarily a formal degree which is essential for managers.Managers r essentially practising economists.A manager has to take a number of decisions r taken under the condition of uncertainty nd risk.Uncertainty nd risk arise mainly due to uncertain behaviour of the market forces, changing business environment, emergence of competitors with highly competitive products, government policy, external influence on the domestic market nd social nd political changes in the country. The complexity of the modern business world adds complexity to business decisions making. However the degree of uncertainty nd risk can b greatly reduced if market conditions are predicted with a high degree of reliability. The prediction of the future course of business environment alone is not sufficient. What is equally important is to take appropriate business decisions nd to formulate a business strategy in conformity with the goals of the firm in brief in my Economics goes far beyond choice with respect to making behaviour, strategies, evaluation, orientation, Policies etc.bt.T&D play's a vital role through different Training Methodologies for skill development nd check Time mgmt.which can b utilised for other perspective for OD nd OB nd ultimately results in positive Productivity in terms of financial aspects nd boost the economy in nut shell in my views.Vry inspiring vdo lecture.Thanx
