Being a Navy kid growing up I found it so cool that Tina was a Navy kid as well. We just missed each other at the former NATO base in Keflavik Iceland where her Dad was the Rear Admiral in charge of the command. We arrived the summer of '67 when her family were transferred the spring of '67. Those who knew her had nothing but good things to say about her.

Stop Making Sense is in a league of its own- only the final scene of Bohemian Rhapsody compares. Tina and Chris were the heart of that incredible group.

They were nowhere near the heart of that group which shows how little you really understand what TH was all about. Everybody in that band could have been replaced by somebody else and as long as David Byrne was still the frontman it would have still been the talking heads. He WAS the talking heads. The fact that Tina and Chris have never been able to move on and are STILL b*tching about how David broke up the band so they couldn't make any more money than they did is basically an admission in their part that he WAS the talking heads. They have all sorts of trash to talk about David both in their interviews and in that book they wrote, but the fact that they blame everything on him shows how important he really WAS to that band. Damn.....

@@meself349 perfectly spoken from an arm-chair quarterback - your statement proves you’ve never been a professional musician who knows that ‘heart’ refers to the rhythm section ie in this type of music bass quitar + drums.

It's nice that they have each other, to keep their history together, all their memories. Very nice people.

These two are F'n adorable, as well as very talented artists. Fun FACT: Last week i had a dude in my vehicle for a ride, who was in the band 7-SECONDS. What i found amazing is that his band has been together for over 40 years and has played CBGB's often and knew just about everyone. Why do i mention it....cuz CBGB was THE ground-zero for their trajectory into our consciousnesses. Much love and respect from Wisconsin Tina & Chris. Peace! 🌱 PS: Jerry Harrison is from here in good ole Milwaukee.

They've been Happily Married since February 25,1978! Tied the Knot after completing the Talking Heads' First Tour in mid and late 1977. They have a Daughter, Zoe and Son Egan. Zoe appears in the "Road To Nowhere" Music Video.(She's the little girl Tina is holding.)

I really enjoyed this conversation! Btw, you guys, I did see Tom Tom Club opening for Grateful Dead on New Year's Eve in Oakland (or was it San Francisco?). Also, I went to see 'Stop Making Sense' (movie) at The Flatirons Theater, a small, ornate movie theater in Boulder, with dozens of my friends, on its first release. They had good sound! It was a great big dance party! No one was sitting in their seats!
