@user-uw1fp3ds5v - you will need universal adapter, indian chargers wont work there. Cash depends on how much you spent there, you can use credit card of forex cards, that will be best. and take around 20-25k per person.

Thanks! Well we did not carry dollars. We carried INR from India and got them exchanged to RM there in KL. The best exchange rate that we got there was 5RM for 100 INR (outside airport, at KL city). At the airport, you would get around 4RM for 100INR. So if you are getting better rates at Kolkata or anywhere, by exchanging with dollars, you can go for that. Also, I would suggest to use Credit Card or Forex Cards, as there the expense would be less. Mostly I had used credit cards, as the rates there was coming around Rs 18.9 for 1 RM. Once you go to the link, you can click on 'Select Options' and then under the add-ons option, select 'Sky Bridge' or 'Sky Bridge + Sky Glide' option.
