I had the same thing with the combo of oversaturated soils and constant wind. My location we had some of the highest winds in Houston during the hurricane. I straightened the smaller things and left the trees alone to see what they would do. They didn't improve so I've had to do some major pruning for both aesthetics and to balance out the weight.
@eljardinperdido11 күн бұрын
One thing about gardening in Houston is that you need to learn to be resilient. If a freeze doesn't take you out, a drought will, a hurricane, or whatever else. It's crazy down here for sure. Hoping you didn't have any big losses.

How big do they get planted so closely? I’d always put mine several feet apart but if they grow well maybe I’ll try closer.
@eljardinperdido12 күн бұрын
I'm limited on space. I will say that papaya naturally grow in clusters like this. I let mine self-seed all the time, and they find their way. judging by their root systems, I think they only need a foot or two of space in root diameter to avoid any competition.

Hi, This is my first time growing Eggplants (2). how many days after the blossom appears before you can pollinate the flower. I don't see pollen transferred to the pistol. I used a soft paint brush yesterday and the pistil is still green. Should i have seen pollen on the pistol yesterday or this morning?

What a great idea and so beautiful and useful. Could I do this with apple trees? I've sprouted seeds and have been considering where I might plant them. They are still small and I have an arch I could train them toward. I just wonder if my apple wood would yield to the same sort of training?

It's so funny when you see a dógma reproduced. I coming from kambo planet the founder sayed he learned a method called the sapo method. Without the drinking beforehand wich is for a lot of people very uncomfortable plus all the water in your stomach can enhance the bad feeling in this area. With this method when nausea is on the peak you take a glass of water so you do not try purge that's it. The purging is not the whole point at all in fact the most healing peptides are not those who make you nausea at all. The peptides who make you vomit do one thing they trigger nausea that's why its such a pure feeling of nausea its kind of the bodys nausea triggering peptides injected externally.
@eljardinperdido4 ай бұрын
So are you saying it's ok not to purge it? I think that much water would make anyone sick.
@Eflodur4 ай бұрын
@@eljardinperdido I am not an expert at all but as far as I understood the guy from kambo planet it is not necessary to force the purging although he does support the purging effect a bit as he drinks one glass of water on the peak of nausea a few minutes after applying kambo on the gates. But also the support here is to have a relieve. Its more comfortable to purge something then to do dry purging or pure bile. One glass before kambo on a empty stomache one glass while on kambo is enough just to make something that uncomfortable as comfortable as possible.

Hey man, it's irresponsible to tell people that are watching this to learn, that the only reason to cook wild mushrooms is to make them taste better. That's blatantly wrong, wild mushrooms can harbor any number of harmful bacteria, and cooking some wild mushroom species is what makes them edible.

@eljardinperdido5 ай бұрын
If you got root rot, it's probably in the wrong soil. Lots of clay in Houston. If you are able to dig it out without harming the roots or a tap root, I'd suggest doing that and soaking out the roots to get all the old soil off. Maybe soak in a dilluted mix of water and a few cap fulls of hydrogen peroxide. Replace soil with a sandier mix. Cados don't like wet feet. They are heavy feeders, but need well-draining soil.
