Make it really concentrated and it looks horrible black. I found that you can add citric acid to clarify it and make turn it purple, like with anthocyanin berries. It works with dark red lilacs. When the syrup is cooked for longer, it then turns brown. I would throw the flowers out and add sugar later so it is not wasted.

I noticed your jars were not completely covered while waterbath process. I believe with all waterbath process, the jars have to be covered with at least 1inch of water.

With mixing the glitter into the paint - Doesn't the glitter just get covered with paint and end up not being glittery as opposed to sprinkling glitter over the painted surface so it sits on top of the paint and does look glittery?

Incredible! I grew up eating black walnuts from trees in the back yard. Where I live now has so many squirrels that very few nuts are available, but this is definitely doable! I love this smell/flavor, so being able to preserve it throughout the year will be excellent 🤌🏻

Hi. I had 2 of these and put them in a shallow dish 1cm of water, no paper towel. 4 days in, they have baby leaves & 2” long white roots! Where do I go from here? Should I plant them in soil in a small planter?
@Angiesfarmlife10 ай бұрын
Hi, Yes plant them in a planter in loose soil or compost.

Does the root part grow back? if not do you get seeds from this method to make new beetroots?
@Angiesfarmlife10 ай бұрын
You cannot regrow a beetroot indoors from a cutting, but you can regrow more leafy greens. You will not get seeds either. To have seeds replant the beet roots in spring after the last frost.

This really works. I had a vey large area of rust on LVT flooring, and was about to get the whole room replaced when I saw this video and decided to give it a go. Used a stiff scrubbing brush instead of a toothbrush, since I had nothing to lose. It took me 2 + hours to remove a really bad stain (much worse than the stain in the video) about a foot square. I used quite a lot of WD 40 but the result was brilliant. Eternal thanks for saving me a ton of money on reflooring

Thank you for your comment :) I am so glad it worked and you saved your flooring.

I'm terrible with using and converting units in recipes. Could someone please check my math? I did 48 oz of walnuts (I bought the bag at Costco), 7 tsp of olive oil (it's cheap but I'll get a better version next time), and 7 tsp of sea salt (2 tbsp, plus 1/3 of another). They are way too salty. Did I compute something incorrectly? Might I have done 3.3 tbsp of salt absentmindedly? I THOUGHT I was paying close attention.
@Angiesfarmlife10 ай бұрын
You converted it right. I used Himalayan salt. Sorry at that time I didn't know they are less salty than other salt.T
