@18:59 Little tip, you can use that little broom button at the bottom to remove all the unused namespaces. @14:09 you can use Ctrl + W to select the word instead of double clicking. Nice Tutorial <3

Hey Dilmer, Excellent Video. I tried recreating this on my Magic Leap 2, everything works wonderfully except restoring of anchors after I restart the application. It successfully executes the OnQueryCompleted() function and then the app crashes. I added a bunch of logging statements to figure out why but no idea why. Any hints as to why this might be happening? Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks for the great videos again, I watched your entire Magic Leap and Meta Quest playlists. They are fantastic!

Excellent tut , as always!( After watching so many of your youtube videos and gaining so much, im gonna join your patreon this month. )Im gonna sound dumb, but Im having a hard time "using" the item I grab via a button press when using the meta blocks , like a trigger to shoot or turn on a flashlight?( I used to use VRIF framework as a starting point for VR stuff, but it doesnt play well with the new meta blocks , and MR has been my dream since starting this stuff back with vuforia and google carboard on my Samsung S5!)

Update 07.2024 for running within Unity (Not Build): PICO Unity SDK v2.5.0 will not work with PicoRuntime (what is shown in video for running within unity), you will need Unity 2020, the Live Preview Plugin v1.0.1, PDC to make it work and find "PICO Live Preview" under Plug-in Providers in the XR Plug-In Management. Live Preview Plugin does not work for Unity2022.

The UI doesn't seem very good to me, it looks like buttons are accidentally pressed when you want to scroll or just hover over them. And conversely, when trying to press them, they aren't selected some times in the video. Depending on what you're doing, this can be a disaster. When you look beyond how impressive it seems at first glance, it's somewhat disappointing.

I believe that’s correct, the battery pack doesn’t allow you to transfer data, it is purposely meant for power and the reason why Apple is offering a strap. I wish we could and didn’t have to spend more for getting this features.

Hey thanks for your feedback, but this won't work with Meta devices. Meta recently released an open source project for computer vision with Meta devices called "ocean". That's a great question Corey, but currently the Application Simulator doesn't support OpenXR. I asked ML about it but so far I haven't seen any progress made on it.

Good questions, it is slow and not instant as perhaps you've seen on iOS. For Accuracy, yes it is very very accurate.

since years I am looking for this solution.. tried so hard to understand how I can use "google Objectron" to train my own model (but they don't want that, no documentation, no response on the repo) - finally it's possible with this headset... but it's kinda slow yet tbh for what I want to build.

Hey thanks for your feedback, but honestly I am very very sure that Apple will drastically improve the training speed, I would say wait for a couple of new visionOS versions and more than likely this will be a lot faster.
