TKR is such a mature, smart player. Going to have a great season, great veteran for our team

As a casual fan, to me it is simple and incredibly hard at the same time. For Fletch it is get >5% better at hitting your 3s. Get better on defense as well as last year you had a 7'4" guy who altered if not blocked a lot of shots when guards got by you. Your overall game is good, heck very very good. If you become the guy when he gets the ball and is open and the opposing team screams "NOOOOO", then you are doing it well. You are close, and my hope is that you worked hard on the offseason improving. So on paper it is simple, just get more than 5% better, oh while you study, keep your grades up and balance your life outside of basketball. Hence easy to write, but very hard to do.

this kind of surprised me. Sounds like he will be the 5. especially when he talked about his role in the stay or drop coverage.
@christopherbrobst7562Күн бұрын
Why are you surprised? He has been a 5 every year he has ever played basketball except last year when he was a 4 only because he needed to play and Edey was the 5. Now Furst can move back to his natural position at the 4.

I think it is possible for this to be a tough loss for Purdue (Catchings was an NBA level talent) and overall be a long term positive (healthier locker room, more opportunity for college ready players now to grow). Purdue will be fine.

You are both dancing around the fact that this was tampering, someone offered him a guaranteed starting role, he asked painter for same guarantee and we all know painter would say no to that guarantee, if it was money Painter could have probably found a way to work it out, but guaranteed starter or guaranteed minutes is a no go, you have to earn that.
@huntershepherd236 күн бұрын
That’s total speculation lol you have no clue why he opted out. Purdue fans would rather just lie on an 18 year old than face the fact which is he didn’t wanna play college ball at Purdue for Matt Painter. To pretend you know he got some guarantees elsewhere is one ridiculous and two uh no shit Sherlock that’s how coaches recruit high school kids is pitch them the role they’d play and the money they can make. Sounds like Painter misled this kid but I wouldn’t go as far to say that’s a fact because I don’t blatantly lie to strangers on the internet for no reason 🤡

Hey Boiler Upload, Love your channel, I watch all your videos- can you put a little more description about Sisley (& other recruits in the future) in the box so we know a little more about them. All I know about Trent is he’s a 4 star from Southern Indiana, but that’s it. I’ve watched 3 or 4 AAU videos of Trent’s (mostly by you) but I don’t know that much about him (where’s he ranked, what high school, is he Purdue’s #1 target for 2025?, is he looking like a firm commit?…info such as this would be appreciated by me or (I think) those who would watch these videos. Just a suggestion and BOILER UP! God Bless.

The only fair way to "evaluate" coaches is to switch rosters and see how the "Blueblood" coaches would do with the same kids. Coach Painter recruits players who fit Purdue University - NOT Kansas, Kentucky, Carolina, etc. Coach Painter does the best with the hand he's dealt - and his peers see it and more than acknowledge his coaching abilities.

Would love to have you as a Hoosier. Purdue did great getting to the final game but they still don't have any banners (the big banners with the most meaning and we know what that means) . Iu is ready to kick the Boilers in their back sides next year. IU all the way to the top of the big 10.
