The dark night of the soul? Dramatic much? Christians do not need to speak so dramitically and ridiculous. They do not need to speak like a scripted ai chatbot. Annoying

How do you balance working… home…. Motherhood with a chronic illness? Your Chanel resonates so much with me! Three boys, always tired, I start decluttering and am in pain and need to put it in a basket and wait until I have the full ability back 😅 so much!

3:11 A little tangential, but I can finally keep my "junk drawer" tidy. How? I RENAMED it my "utility drawer." If it's truly junk, I throw it away. If it's potentially useful, I put it away neatly in the utility (or "miscellaneous") drawer.

How do and your husband divide chores? Does he grocery shop or do dishes or help with morning and nightime routine with the children?
@TheAtWhatCostBlog
@TheAtWhatCostBlog 26 күн бұрын
Yes, he does. We divide things up more by day. He works 4 10’s and has about an hour commute, so he’s all hands on deck the days he’s off and the nights I have women’s ministry meetings or Bible Study.

I am in the beginning phase of my home declutter. The last two years have been hard with losing three family members and moving both moms to facilities to better care for them. I inherited a lot of stuff. I am finally able to let things go and know I not losing the people all over again. I wept today when I found my dad's coat with his gloves still in the pocket. I kept the gloves (for now) and gifted the coat. For me, that was a giant leap! Thank you for the encouraging words!

That is a lot to process emotionally, let alone sorting through all the things. My husband and I lost both of our fathers within six months and it was a long road. But you’re not in it alone! 💕 Praying for you to feel the peace that passes understanding that only the Lord can give as you walk the road ahead.

It is amusing to me that the "trauma" my cousin put me through when I was a teenager would make me a "laundry master"! She would only do laundry once per month for her family of 4. She would convince me every time to help her, so we hauled several garbage bags full of dirty clothes to the laundromat (my cousin had a fully functioning washer & dryer at home) and proceed to do 25-30 loads of laundry. How exhausting! As an adult, I do a load of laundry EVERY DAY. (Sometimes it's 2, when I need to wash sheets, blankets, towels or rugs.) I work full time outside the home, so I put a load on to wash as I'm getting ready in the morning and put it on to dry in the evening. "Laundry Day" may work for some people, but I just can't devote that much time in one day to laundry. Incorporating it into my daily routine keeps it under control.
@TheAtWhatCostBlog
@TheAtWhatCostBlog 26 күн бұрын
That is traumatic! I work from home but my work hours are set. I throw the load it in the morning, turn it over to the dryer at lunch and then I sort and put away when the kids are getting ready for bed. Daily works best for us now too.

It might be worth having a look, as you declutter this time, to see what kinds of things have come in and if there's a relationship with those types of things you need to evaluate? Working this through can help prevent or reduce "inflow" for the future. Best wishes with your next declutter, you've got this! 💪

Realistically how often do you wear scarves? I had a dozen, kept 4 and this year, I have only worn 1. I donated all my fantasy self clothes, recently and it feels so good. I actually have started losing weight since, which I haven't been able to do in a long time. Maybe it's not stressing about all the too small clothes that were in my closet?! Great job, Mary Beth!! .

I have a pair of the Raycon Everyday Earbuds from a couple years ago. I would definitely recommend them. Mine don't have the noise cancellation and awareness modes that yours have (or if they do, I'm not aware. 🙂) I will say that Raycon stands behind their warranty. One of the buds from my first pair separated top and bottom within the first year. I contacted them, sent a picture and proof of purchase, and they sent me a new pair.

Same here. Got them in Sept 2022. Its funny. I actually got their over the ear headphones first in Jully that year. I actually prefer music w that type of headphone. But because of the good experience w them I got the 2022 version of the earbuds. Almost 2 yrs later and I am still pleased. Like you said, that version lacks ANC. However the gel tips do a solid job of passive noise isolation. They still work well for me aside from the paint chipping due to a bunch of falls. The over the ears don't really have any signs of wear and tear. Glad Raycon put out a new version of the buds but I am not a fan of touch controls so I may hold out a little longer before any upgrades.
