Thank you so much for posting this. I had a snippet of this on VHS and never expected to stumble across a full version.

Living in this crazy world, so caught up in the confusion Nothing is-a making sense for me and you But maybe if we find a way, there is got to be the solution How to make a brighter day? What do we do? We've got to give a little love, have a little hope Let's make this world a little better Try a little more, harder than before Let's do what we can do together Only we can make it better... Only if we try... Got the words on our minds, got the troubles on our shoulders Sometimes it just seems so much what we go through But maybe if we take the time, time to understand each other We can learn to make it right. What do we do? We've got to give a little love, have a little hope Let's make this world a little better Try a little more, harder than before Let's do what we can do together Only we can make it better... Only if we try... Only we can make it better... Only if we try... If everybody took somebody by the hand Then maybe everyone could learn to love and understand We've got to give a little love, have a little hope Let's make this world a little better Try a little more, harder than before Let's do what we can do together We've got to give a little love, have a little hope Let's make this world a little better Try a little more, harder than before Let's do what we can do together Only we can make it better... Only if we try... Only we can make it better... Only if we try... Give a little love... Give a little love... Give a little love... Give a little love...

Here is my attempt to transcribe the lyrics: Get to grips Get to grips Chorus: I've got a tale that's never being told get to grips and handle your soul I've got a tale that's never been told get to grips and handle your soul I've got a tale that's never been, never been, never been, never been, never been, never been told. A tale to tell so get to grips I'm gonna take your mind on a long trip So slip Get into gear, you better sit as I prepare to share these thoughts with you and you and you and you brother man Over there in a slump Jump to your feet like it's a long winding Street Full of pitfalls and traps and doors that snap So brother man put on your thinking cap at that Slap the face of the force that knocked you off course You're locked in to a new source of no Remorse You're moving towards your designated destination And feel the sensation of the rush and the buzz of your life in your own hands cos I know I was Wondering why the brother told me he was shooting from the hip When he hadn't got to grips Chorus A tale of a wilderness* (?) that's sinking like a ship I'm being cryptic when I say I must kick I must kick this one out to those who are drowning And down in the dumps Stop clowning* (?) and frowning As I pump some fresh data In order to separate The positive from the negative that frustrates a Person And she or he starts to worsen and curse And feels like bursting at the seams I must lean, towards the theory That the weak and weary can always get up and stop their lives from being dreary And drab and sad like you lost the love you had Get to grips and life won't be as bad as Thinking you're at the end of your tether By getting to grips the load that you carry can be light as a feather Get your hips moving to these three words that pass my lips And basically*(?) get to grips, get to grips Chorus Yo Ronnie get the grips Ronnie Jordan get to grips Chorus

The Christians lyrics were very political, they required you to do some thinking and homework. This song is very critical of the Thatcher government and the false promises of renewal for Liverpool after the devastating loss of heavy industries and the dockyard.
