Use a mix of stam/int and stam/sprit gear. If you can't use the AH... then use Leather or Mail gear... just have your shield armor decently up to date. if you char had 100 armor from ALL your gear... your shield would give +60 Armor soo...

Yeah, that is a PTR change. Spell Damage only no +healing. They did it for Sheath because it makes gearing paladin very bland... your DPS gear is also BiS healing gear for example... and to over powered. An example would be you have 400 +healing in AVENGERS and 450 in T3 with the old sheath. They also nerfed Shaman similarly. They gain spell damage from Mental Dextarity not healing.

@pallytime2156 thx for the confirmation. The other questionable 1 is shock and awe. It's now as well only spell damage. No healing. An entire rune u can only use if ur dps holy shockadin lol.

Work? Yes. Be Awful? Yes. The issue here is that in order to work in PvP Art of war NEEDS time on target in melee with the enemy... aka 20 seconds or more of you beating on them. Sacred Shield is CRITICAL to getting any real time on target... survive bursts and so on. Your proposal would play more like Ret Reckoning where you are ALL IN using Bubble / Divine Protection... if bubble isn't up you proposal won't work. If the enemy can blink or zip away it also won't work. So Mage, Rogue, Druid, Shaman, Paladin... anything that can run away from you even when you are bubbled will do good against you. Its just a bad idea. Sorry. Try them both if you like. In BG's it will "ok" if you're not getting focused... but as a Front Line Melee class... you will be focused.

@@Nistrin You Mean Phase 4? I will make a vid on that but my guess would be 4600-4800... and you should just try to have 5k. As usual its complicated. There are actually 3 break points. The first just protects you from average damage rolls on spells if 3 out of 4 of them in a burst CRIT. The Second protects you from 3 out of 4 crits IF they high Roll. And the final one protects you even if all 4 crit average rolls. In SoD there is so much STUN on cast mechanics flying around that you want a heavier HP Bar to compensate. AKA the largetr HP break points

SoR has X Spell Power Ratio regardless of weapon seed. It adds X Holy DPS to your weapon... meaning faster wep = lower numbers... slower = higher numbers but its the same DPS. But then it is has 20% or More Spell Power ratio that doesn't care how fast or slow your wep is. So a 3.8 speed 2 Hander might hit for 150 SoR Damage and a 1.3s Speed might hit for 120 SoR Damage. That's 300 SoR Damage at 3.8s of 1 Hand swing time.

I was confused as to why SoR R3 was not being said to be always superior regardless of weapon speed. However, I think I get it now... ...so; it COULD be the case that SoR R3 is superior to SoR MAX with some particular 2 hand weapon, but it will be more variable (than 1 handers), because for that to be so, the 2 hander would need to be exceptionally fast, or if not exceptionally fast, your Paly would need to have exceptional +spellPower. Is that right?

its just simple math... -50% damage = +100% life... -66% = +200%... 75% = +300% The armor gains formula just accounts for this Hence the visually less and less gains as you go up. If you do the math there is no loss at all.

I get this complaint... have thought about it... and find it stupid. Example 1. If I call a Woman and Inanimate Object or thing = Dehumanizing her. Example 2. If I call and inanimate object or thing he/she = I am humanizing it. Notice BOTH cannot be dehumanizing sense that is just how logic works.

@@pallytime2156 i dont disagree , but u have to have some , if that sham just opened on you while u were having trouble getting up that "rock" , you were dead way earlier (for example) , also having time lost while turning can also reduce ur dps output , and fck up some timings.

Its actually NICE for us to KNOW you can use bubble just to get JoW on the target and still be OK... so despite the REALLY BAD opener on my part it was valuable info. 2. Shaman could have played better for sure... or even been a better spec / rune selection... but what I was REALLY after is proof of concept. My "Theory" vs Shaman was X but outside of a few BG 1v1's with the +30% HP I hadn't tested it. And wanted some visual proof of concept. 3. YES My Mechanics SUUUUUUCCCCKKKKK. 1v1 depends how much Spell Power you have.. usually its rank 1 or 2

I just put them as buttons on my bars... lower right 2 usually and click them as I move. Or make a macro

Solo Self Found for me = Be a Dwarf Paladin, Engi + X Dwarf is nice because you can find chests which have herbs and metal bars for whatever your doing. GO look up a Dark Moon Fair Guide... its one of your BEST gearing methods unironically. Chest Farming = Dangerous below level 30... no Seal of Light to carry you if things get frisky.

Holy Pally PvE is actually good game design as is. You can have a infinate mana GREAT single target healing class... but you can't have Infinate mana GREAT or even DECENT AoE healing. Its the current issue with Shamans, Chain Heal, and Shamanistic Rage. 1. Blizzard needs to NERF Chain Heal by 50-75% while Shamanistic Rage is on CD. 2. It would be "Ok" if Blizzard Gave holy pally better Single target Healing (which they did if they could do math and realize that Divine Light needs to be 750 mana at most) But they CANNOT Give Paladin AoE healing worth a damn. Can't do it. Otherwise its just "Bring nothing by Hpallies to Raid" just like is happening horde side with shamans.

PvE or PvP? Mage is good but requires quite a bit of skill mechanically to do good in PvP. She also has hard counters which sucks. Warrior scares the hell out of me if I wasn't a Paladin. Execute spam + Multiple Gap Closers + Trinkets that let then get out of CC... there are new ones... makes me think they going to be chad. Also Mages have CLEANSE now... so Warrior anti-CC in team play is FAR more abubdant... especially for alliance.

Also a brain dead monkey can play warrior if they get high stam on them.
