What I I find interesting is when vika was her at her peak she was virtually on the baseline and would take ball on so early now she’s a couple steps back and she Dosent do that anymore

Unbelievable to think this 2012 should have been Kvitova’s year but it wasn’t and once she lost this match she never had the chance to be number one again. She really should have become number one😢

I think in 2019 , she had the chance to become No 1 not long after she lost Aus Oprn final , she lost a match that had she won she would`ve been No 1 , after that never got close again . 2 Grand Slams is better than being No1 anyway.

Damn Stosur hit the ball with heavy top spins. Couple of times here the balls move in such a weird way. Before there was Iga Swiatek, Stosur was among the first few women who utilizes heavy top spins effectively. Azarenka back then was a worthy world no 1 player. I could only think of her & Serena as a worthy no 1 player back in the 2010s.

It is sad that tennis fans often do not know who Max Mirny is. The guy has won 10 Grand Slam tournaments in doubles and mixed doubles. He is an outstanding doubles specialist. For tennis fans, the singles matches are the most important. Even if Max had 30 Grand Slam titles, he would always be behind with Fererer, Djokovic and Nadal.
