Thanks for showing me home man. It's true that a lot of things have changed today. But, life has become much easier for the people of Hunza now. There was a shortage of food once in the region, but people don't have that issue anymore. People have been exercising less now due to all the ease they are enjoying. The lifespan is still very high in the region. My grandma is around 95 years old. I believe that the secret to a long life is mainly due to connectivity of the people, less stress, and healthy minds. People don't worry about things and have all the time in the world. The food and environment play a good role in longevity, but happiness in general plays a very crucial role. The people of Hunza are mainly fun-loving, respectful, and cheerful.

I wasn't trying to judge the whole Pakistani baking culture :) Was just saying that to my taste in pastries, it was nice but a bit dry. Many may like it that way, it's just personnal preferences.

@@Seedsofdiscovery What about diving do you know if there is any good diving center ? where on Sao miguel would you recommend living ? for 8 days ? Is it soo long just to stay there for all days ? quite a long way to jump to a new island. Thankts for fast reply!

@@devel-rh6hy Unfortunately, I am not into diving so Ive never really checked for good spots. Ponta Delgada is nice otherwise Ribeira Grande and maybe Furnas are good to book smth. If you want to do a quick jump for a day or two, Santa Maria is next by.

I am interested in digital nomading on a visit to the Azores but how can I find an alternative to expensive AirBnB?
@Seedsofdiscovery
@Seedsofdiscovery Ай бұрын
Portugal as a whole has become quite expensive. Usually during winter months it is cheaper. Otherwise, reaching out to local agencies could be an option. There is a price for locals which is quite cheaper than for foreigners

Just back from Madeira it’s beautiful and now covid is over the ferry to Porto Santo is easy and short but early morning. One more tip if you hire a car and drive to the gorgeous Churchill Bay don’t pay the scammers who infest the car park and guide you into a parking bay you could enter without them. They wave you into a free car park and ask for money to wave you into a parking bay. The same people will also walk up to you and give you the head of a small wild daisy flower and then ask for a euro. They need arresting. Fortunately we got the yellow tourist bus from Funchal and watched them with our wonderful waitress who pointed it out and was concerned that we had not driven there and paid them from the restaurant above the car park with a view of the sea. I am 100% going to return asap.

Hunza is declining, in 50 years it’ll become just a typical Penjab region. Sweet drinks, chips and other junk food displacing traditional Hunza food. Sad. This means that we must study and adopt all the details of Hunza life in order to implement this in London and Moscow etc when real Hunza disappears..
