Cool video; hopefully by now you are using Resolve for color grading. Resolve is and has been the superior digital color grading software for many years. It used to be stand alone by da Vinci Systems and sold for $200,000+ ; 2003-2009 Blackmagic bought the software, added in editing, sound, motion graphics etc and they have a free limited version and a $199 full license No need for anything else Put that toy back in the box! 😅

Love it! I have a question I *cannot* fin an answer to. I’m all about the Timelapse life as you can see from my channel. But as you know sometimes shit goes wrong like a raindrop warps everything, or wind jitter, resulting in two clips with about 20 frames missing. Doesn’t sound like much but it’s noticeable. How can I best blend these two shots? (fill in the 20 frames so it looks smooth again.) I’ve tried morph cuts but it still looks bad.

I prefer on with stuff like this, but for rollercoaster pov’s I prefer it off, so it gives a more accurate pov, cause with horizon lock on, its inaccurate because nobodies head stays straight, no upside down, on a rollercoaster (I feel like I made this hard to read ;-;)

Hello and sorry I didn’t see this comment until now! I don’t use chest mounts for POV wakeboarding footage. The angle is too low and all you see is the handle. Here’s what I would do. First of all you always want to shoot in the widest field of view on your GoPro when capturing POV. The Max lens mod 1 & 2 really takes this to the next level. So what you want to use for POV wakeboarding footage is one or some of the following: Adhesive helmet mount or strap Bite Mount Floaty Housing (always use this)

Me personally I usually go video mode….photo mode requires a few extra steps but you can pull more detail out in post. I color with a plugin called Color Finale Pro!

@@MawangHujan-fl2zn so if you shoot footage with a GoPro camera the GoPro quik app can do this automatically when you adjust the aspect ratio and lens options within the app but you don’t have much control over it. That’s all I know of.

What is the benefit of a 1080p timeline and exproting at 4k vs a 4k timeline and exporting at 4k?

1080p timeline to 4K export is just a way of forcing KZfaq to encode your 1080p video at a higher bitrate resulting in a better quality web video….4K timeline to 4K export is what you can also do giving the best results but it may be harder on your system to edit.
