Check the pressure ratings of all components downstream from the Lube Master pump and ensure the blowout disc is rated to burst at a pressure that is lower than any of the components. Hello! Thank you for reaching out! Utilizing a pressure switch will tell the pump when to stop running. In the case of a G3 pump, if the pump keeps running after reaching pressure then the excess grease is returned to the pump reservoir through the Pressure Relief Valve (PRV). The PRV is designed to be a safety relief, not for regular use. By frequently sending grease through the PRV, it will wear out the valve and then the valve will allow a constant bypass. At that point, the system will no longer be able to build pressure and the injectors will stop functioning.

Hi there! Thank you for reaching out! The display "PR 01" for products such as a G3 Max or a GLC 2200 means that it is looking for a signal from a pressure switch. In pressure mode, as the controller sends power to the pump, it is pumping grease or oil and building pressure in the system. When the system pressure reaches the "set" pressure of the pressure switch, the switch closes and sends a signal to the controller. This tells the controller to stop the pump. At this time, the vent valve should also open to vent system pressure back to the grease or oil reservoir.

Yes, if you are using a series progressive system, you can place one proximity switch, when it does not receive a signal in a certain time, activates a cycle alarm and turns off the pump.

Hello! Thank you for the question. The MSP valves shown in this video are modular valves. What you are describing sounds like a monoblock, such as our Compact Series Progressive (CSP) valve. The CSP valves have an accessory called a Doubling Plug which works the way you described, but those don't work in the modular valves. With the MSP valves, when you need to shunt the flow of one outlet to the next outlet, a component called a Crossport Bar (or Crossport Plate) is required. When the Crossport is installed it provides a path from one outlet to the next, and then a plug is installed in the first outlet.

Error 6 occurs when a preset dispense amount of zero was entered for the dispense or is stored as the default, and a Preset dispense was attempted. The solution for this issue is to enter an amount that is not zero.
