I've always said that a listen to this track can raise your IQ. It certainly makes one more aware. Nothing like it before or since.

Thank you so much for this video! I'm a lover of rock, particularly progressive and psychedelic/space rock, and this video helped me to learn more about rock bands in this subgenre. Thanks! British prog-rock bands were truly one of the best.

Pink Floyd where not just a band they where a journey a trip into the future and still today the journey continues
@MrBluetinman17 күн бұрын
Pink Floyd was a band not a single person, you should correct the title.
@sail2byzantium17 күн бұрын
Sigh. "What did Pink Floyd say about himself?" Absolutely nothing as once again this names a GROUP and not an individual. The better, and grammatically accurate question: "What did Pink Floyd say about themselves?" C'mon PsychProg. Loved your Rick Wakeman video with the unidentified Yes music I'm dying to have identified. Trying to save you from more grammatical embarrassment.

The irony of playing a Yes song when its supposed to be about Genesis.

That's not an example of irony. A strange choice of soundtrack, perhaps, but not irony.

@@davidf6326 It's not Yes
@davidf63265 күн бұрын
@@TONE11111 To honest, I don't know who wrote or performed this music - though I'm pretty damn sure it's not Genesis ☺ I don't know Yes quite so well, so I was prepared to accept that the OP knew more about the music of thta band than he does about English vocabulary. As it happens, it's academic anyway, as my point was that the situation he was describing - even if he were correct on the band - is not an example of irony. Incidentally, who is it? I didn't really listen to it properly, but the vocals sound a bit like a second rate imitation (or very poor recording) of Jon Anderson.

So you know, Genesis is not a "himself". It is a group name. So, this would better read and correctly read, "What did Genesis say about THEMSELVES." This plural grammar also is the case for Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. There is no Led himself nor Pink himself. Both too are names of groups.

@@durango8882 Yeah. The site has now this for Pink Floyd too: "What did Pink Floyd say about himself." Sigh. And Pink Floyd even sang about this very problem ("Oh, by the way, which one's Pink?" riffing on the record industry, from "Have a Cigar," from the album -Wish You Were Here-.

@@rk41gator Yeah. You are very likely right about that--and I confess, I didn't originally think of this. Still a shame they couldn't have a live, sentient and sapient human being check the title before posting it--could be checked and corrected in virtually no time. Thanks!

When I went to a Late-Night showing of Zeppelin's 'Song Remains the Same' Movie.... we came home on the bus, and a guy overhead us and said "Oh, I Like Him, ol' Led !" 🙄

Very nice music. Definitely Yes, but I can't quite place it, esp. as the drumming sounds more like Bill Bruford than Alan White--so it's not Topographic Oceans as far as I can recollect. What are we hearing? Thanks for posting!
