Dude congrats! Amazing stories of the early days and a powerfully delicious looking recipe

Man! As a Mexican. I rather make myself a shrimp quesadilla with pico de gallo and Louisiana sauce if you wanted more spicy. That’s a delicious poor man’s recipe if you’re going to use flour tortillas.

Also I'm curious what expensive means here. Was that brisket 50? 100? More?
@PourChoicesKitchen2 күн бұрын
This one was about $120 from Costco which to me is expensive lol. Though some of the other wagyu briskets can cost into the $200-$300 range. I’m used to paying $60-$80 for a brisket depending on the cut and size.

Amazon! Originally was just looking for regular wooden ones but then saw these electric ones and the nerd in me overruled the practical shopper in me lol. These are old but if you search electric salt and pepper set you should get some good options

As a local to the Philly area im both pleased with your promotion and respect of the sandwich. And annoyed by some of the sacrilegious choices. Im also understanding that on this side of the country "California style" means putting mayo on something, which makes no f'ing sense.....should be avocado.

Great looking cheesesteak! Could use some bell peppers though. They'd sautee up beautifully on that griddle with all that meat juice
@shaemartin159522 күн бұрын
god im hungry for that, it looks delicious. i wanted to ask about the seasoning thing, when you found pre-seasoning was making the steak drier, were you letting the steak rest with the salt on it for about an hour or two? that's what i do for steaks and the steak tends to reabsorb the juices with the salt, so the saltiness penetrates all the way through. it could definitely be different for cheesesteaks, i just wanna double check before i make this at home

Around where I live everyone uses thick yellow cheese sauce slathered on plain seasoned steak strips. It's fuckin' nasty. THIS on the other hand 🎉
