Hi Jim. Would be interested in seeing a collaboration with Brady Miller from GOHUNT on something like this in a future video. I think most can agree that his skill level is above average to say the least. Would be interested to see how he performs in something like this.

Canik Pistols and TriStar Shotguns come from Turkey. Don't know about Turk rifles or pistols other than Canik but many, many "decent" to good shotguns are made in Turkey. And forgot- Springfield has a bolt action 22 LR in the 5- 600$ range and it's beautiful, also made in Turkey but I have never shot any of them except the TriStar Viper G2. Mine will not cycle "cheap" 1 ounce loads but cycles "cheap" 1 1/8 and up just fine and it's a very well made shotgun. I wish they had not plastered TRISTAR in giant white letters but other than that, it looks good. They are in the 6- 650$ range.

Why not shoot on the bench and lower your scope so you can get a better cheek weld? Also, the feeding "issue" happens when you run the bolt slow. I have a few savages and can get it to do this on demand if I want. If I just run the bolt fast no issues.

To test the manufacturer’s claim of 1 MOA, you can’t put the gun in someone’s hands, at an outdoor range. Put the gun in a vice, with the best consistency ammo, indoors. Everyone understands that wind is going to blow shots from 100 yards. And humans will too. And if you’re running junk ammo the MV will be all over the place. The gun sets the baseline accuracy, and all of the other inaccuracies add on top of that.

Kids watch your show and we know well most of them are quick learners. They may come across an unknown gun by an accident and if they reach for it the way you do the next second they may be laying down on the ground dead.

Great challenge. I love @RonSpomerOutdoors comment. I have a couple more show ideas you may want to consider….Take 5 factory rifles with the ammo they like and shoot a whole box into a single bullseye. 20 shot group at 100 yds. How does that compare to the 1 moa guarantee many have. Then take 5 best quality custom rifles and shoot the same. Maybe offer $100 to beat your best factory rifles group!

I recall years ago being on the firing point when a mate passed me a little rifle and said give it a go. I had no idea, it was an FN Columbian Mauser chambered in 30-06, I do remember seeing stars from the recoil and report. And that friends are what mates are for :)

For the money would you say is the Savage 110 tactical or Tikka T3X UPR a better rifle ? It will be an all purpose and if the situation ever arose self defense rifle. I like that both have a long heavy profile barrel to get the most out of ammo and its threaded for muzzle devices. Built in optic rail, and detachable magazines. I know the savage 110 tactical mags will be more affordable but the tikka has a better action. I’d highly appreciate your time and advice, thank you. You make great informative videos and appreciate your hard work

My Cva cascade in 6.5 prc totally sucked big time ,inch and three quarters was the best group I can get with 5 factory loads and countless reloads.10,15,20,30,40 thousands off the lands 6 different powders three different new scopes leveled and torqued to specks shooting from heavy sandbags.my friend who shoots competition matches offered to check the rifle and do some loads himself he used his bore scope camera to inspect the barrel and discovered that the barrel was pitted really bad and he could not get it to group any better than inch and a half.sent it back to Cva and their answer was “WE DO NOT WARRANTY PITTED BARRELS.”After dealing with Sportsmans wearhouse for months I got my money back. I guess I got a lemon but was very disappointed how Cva dealt with me.I will order a mouser m18 in 6.5 prc since I got the ammo and reloading supplies.

Been shooting a long time and I'm fairly good at it but I've never heard of the light angle affecting zero. I still don't understand it but it's very interesting. As for cold bore shots, I've neve noticed any significant effects. As in the effect is small enough that Its not clearly identifiable. Clean bore, I've noticed but even that has been less than many people claim.

Best bang for buck rifle money can buy I got a Sako 85 hunter a while ago metal magazine metal trigger gaurd etc very nice but just dam heavy for backpack hunting ended up selling it and going back to a tikka I’d rather spend the money on optics than a fancy rifle I don’t need

Hey there, recently discovered your channel earlier this year and have really enjoyed your videos. I have a question on scopes, I have 2 rifles: a Browning A-bolt 270 and a Bergara B14 HMR 300 win mag and have a Vortex Diamondback Tact 6-24x50 on the 270. Now my question is, would I be better to buy a different scope for my 300, or put the vortex on my 300 and get a different scope for the 270?

Interesting video. I also believe that there are far fewer moa guns and shooters out there than claimed. However, it's also reasonable to think that many of the most serious shooters are shooting on private ranges.

First, I would calculate the cost of brass into the over all cost. But, since each piece of brass can be reloaded four or five times then I would divide that cost by five to figure out the cost of each round fired. Also, I have found that I can get tons of free brass from the range because a lot of people don’t care. Second, I disagree about the beginners level reloading kits. I have a kit from Lee that I bought 20 years ago and it has loaded/reloaded thousands (if not tens of thousands) of rounds. It isn’t as precise or as efficient as more complex systems but it gets the job done. I am not a precision shooter and I don’t have a KZfaq channel so my set up works reliably well for the 300-400 rounds I fire each year. In other words: get the level of equipment that matches your particular level of shooting.

I did not know that you could do that it would be that quiet. I don’t wanna say this though it’s a little bit easier to make a silence 22 handgun because 22 isn’t really that loud. I’ve shot 22 without your muffs incorrectly and I was fine so it is a little bit easier that’s gonna say, but still promised to you. That was really cool

I'm glad all of the points were marked, so I only had to watch about 30 seconds of this video to get the specific info for the "9 ways", and I didn't have to suffer through al of the in between (unnecessary) "chatting". I already knew all of this, so I was just checking to be sure, and I like "to the point videos" without all of the "filler".
