My 4 cylinder promaster city has an OEM 160amp alternator. I want to run 50amp DC-DC charger from it. Do I need to upgrade? and if so what might be a good size and product to ugrade to?
@nicknick7052
@nicknick7052 22 сағат бұрын
Rule of thumb: the charger amps should be no more than half of the alternator amps. So in your case the 50amps charger sounds good.

Pro Tip: If you are producing an equipment mounting panel that is going to be hidden away in a recess with a cover over it then make it available in white powder coat so that if you have to work on it in-situ it's not like working in the black hole of Calcutta.

So it’s better to have combo beam of spot and wide or spot and flood for bumper for on road use? Is there a led light bar, that is a wide beam pattern for SAE compliant? @ReadyToDriveAnywhere

Moin Heiner, This kind of video sucks 😂 Loud music, flicking fast through the subjects hard to identify the objects…. Teaser ? Or eye catcher??, not really…. Listen to music loud ? I can sit in my car ad crank up the Burmester stereo… Ok, that’s my opinion, no offence Cheers from good old Germany

It is great to see Ryan took the effort to wear a nice crease free shirt and be neatly groomed. Too many presenters look like garbage, and you worry that their work will also be bad, here I have confidence that he would do a superior job.

This is a wonderful idea, after having my last ute written off (not by me), the idea of being able to salvage stuff from the old car to go into the new car is very attractive.

Stonking bit of kit ryan, would make Heiner proud, got everthing a prospector would need & some, just gotta find enough gold to pay for it. Coz there aint no way the head of 'domestic affairs,food & FINANCES' is gonna wear that $$ & give it the green light go zone without some seroious kick back, or there will be some radical PERMINANT damage to me🥴......... & the ute 😭. 👍🙂

Redarc so much more simple without all that gear everywhere
@dgd05
@dgd05 Ай бұрын
Not necessarily. Redarc will take up the same space to be equivalent to that victron unit. Victron will trump Redarc all day any day. They are used in yatchs etc. Coming from a Redarc owner here. However Redarc is premium gear made in Australia. Their new kit is what they needed just took a bit longer to bring out Safiery will blow all of them out the water in every aspect. But there is not 1 brand that does everything right. These guys do a ripper job here in Perth 💪🏽

@@dgd05 exactly and I will add that Redarc is best for those whoe don't have the knowledge to customise the configuration, plug n play so to speak compared to the other 2. Have owned both Redarc and now Victron so can speak from experience.
